Well, this looks dated already. Also looks like it could be dumb fun. I'm open to it, anyway.

Well, this looks dated already. Also looks like it could be dumb fun. I'm open to it, anyway. This. Looks like a complete trashy B-movie being elevated by Crowe's performance. He looks to be hamming it up and having a lot of fun in the late Orson Welles stage of his career. Crowe looks to be basically the main/only reason to watch this. I'll wait for VOD, but maybe this can draw some people to the cinema looking for undemanding entertainment after months stuck at home.

Looks like he's going to lose more than eye this time lol. Seriously though he deserves better roles than this. Well, this looks dated already. Also looks like it could be dumb fun. They never responded back, but just a few days ago I saw a tweet about Chris Pratt from a mutual. I guess his ascent to the top was much slower, but he reminds me of Crowe in that they were at the top and fell pretty fast once they reached the top. At least Crowe has an Oscar and his millions, but I guess at least Pratt can always return to television and do something like Parks & Rec again since the reunion probably got him a lot of goodwill. Sure other actors reach the top and don't stay there either, but I'd say that there's still goodwill left towards them. Like Keanu Reeves might not be at the top anymore, but he was able to have a rebound. I guess theoretically Crowe and Pratt could too, but I seriously doubt it. Anyhow I have no interest in seeing this movie even if I miss going to movies. Although ever since traffic has lessened so much, maybe I should see it as a lesson on not getting all ragey myself when people aren't speeding despite the fact that there's less traffic. Ugh, I never thought I'd be one of those people, but I'm out there in the fast lane, and then I get so angry because people I come up behind won't pass people in the other lane. Then I get boxed in, and I'm trying to get the person just to pass the other vehicle. They probably hate me so much lol.

Pratt’s ascension was from 2 major franchises as a blockbuster star. While he’s had some nice smaller roles with great directors, he hasn’t ventured to a leading role in a drama. I also don’t think he’ really fallen either. He has a 3rd installment for both GotG and Jurassic world in the pipeline. The Tomorrow War will be a true test of his star status and bank ability. Crowe on the other hand had a solid 8-9 years of more prestige work that followed his rise before he really fell from grace.

He's damn near 60 and looks hotter than some of these 40 year old actors. Russell, well, he looks like somebody's grandfather. As for Chris, I don't think he has hit bottom yet. People still like him and he will still get parts.

Looks fascinating. Crowe is having a quite a moment in his career between this and ‘The Loudest Voice’.

looks pretty hilarious tbh, for the same reasons Ma did last year. These movies are never as schlocky or bad taste as I want them to be though (throw Ready or Not in that pile too) so I'm probably gonna watch this and be disappointed, but you know I'm gonna watch it.

5/10 - sh it sandwich.
Russell Crowe is a very unfunny joke nowadays but rarely has he been this glum and one note........what has happened here?
Since about 2003 onward - he hasn't been great in ~20 years (almost) or even good much actually - and he was just ~38 then! Talk about actors who've declined and not at when they got old either but right in the middle of his peak years - 38 isn't exactly what happened to Dustin Hoffman in his 50s and you weren't ever Dustin Hoffman......mate.
He's a bore here in this never ending stalker movie - that starts as one thing and things devolve stupidly, endlessly....

Most entertaining movie of 2020 tbh. Carried amazingly by Russell Crowe who is pretty much playing Walter Sobchak in the "mark it zero, dude" scene of The Big Lebowski with the most fucked up case of road rage ever. This is the sort of "unhinged" performance that you only usually see from someone like King Nic Cage. He's scary, hilarious (whether he meant to be or not), and even somewhat convincing in his lunacy. If you're not a snob, go into this for entertainment alone and come to terms early with the lady protagonist making a bunch of bad decisions, and you should enjoy it. Top 3 Crowe moments: 1. Telling the cop "fuck off" (or was it fuck you?) before lighting the brother in the desk chair on fire and wheeling him in the direction of the cop. 2. Smashing Jimmi Simpson in the face with the coffee cup. 3. After the lady apologizes on the phone - "You know, I can still hear that faint tinge of 'fuck you' in your voice."

This is by no means a great film and I kind of forgot about it the second it ended, but it mostly worked as a nasty slasher and Crowe was a lot of fun. Unhinged indeed. Props to the movie for that cover of 'Don't Fear the Reaper' during the end titles - thanks to it I've discovered the band Keep Shelly in Athens and have been enjoying their stuff since.

Well, it was trashy trash of the predictable variety. The finale and ending were painful, but Crowe was a lot of fun. He did everything in his power to elevate this nonsense.

I used to have such a huge crush on Crowe in his early days but now . Look I dont mind a bit of chunk/heft on a dude but his face is seriously bloated. Lay off the beers and start hitting the top shelf vodka - less calories. I love these types of movies so its a definite yes especially since Jimmi Simpson gets the quick kill. Good actor but I'm turned off by that face. I'm trying to look good for my sister's wedding but am an alcoholic. Is that true that vodka will result in less bloat?

Oh that is soo typical of some of us boozehounds - " I want to glug, glug, glug all night long but how can I look Tip Top in the morning and give George Clooney a run for the money?" Unless ya have his dough, fug get about it. My advice: Do tha best ya can with what ya got but try not to fall into the punch bowl. Dame Maggie would not approve.
