Haven't seen either, but I'm more excited for Logan

John Wick 2 has the stronger direction, Logan the stronger performances.

John Wick 2 has the stronger direction, Logan the stronger performances. I thought the action was impressive in Logan, but I would have loved if Mangold gave us a long take of Logan fighting. He sort of gave us that towards the end and I get that Mangold isn't interested in making anything look cool. He wants it to be visceral and I love that, but for a filmmaker who seems to be inspired by Children of Men among many other films, I would have loved to have seen Logan and Laura running and hiding in a small town in one elaborate take.

I've been debating that in my head too but I'm gonna give the slight edge to Logan because it just resonates with me a little bit more. It's love for Unforgiven among other films plays a big part in my love for it. Threw both slick R rated genre pictures.

oh Logan by far. I liked John Wick 2 but Logan really moved me and I can see myself rewatching this many times, also so many things in this movie really, really impressed me
