Lmao. Very typical Goggins role, but still, sounds hilarious.

Anyone been watching this? Looking at you viced.
I think it’s been a really solid, funny show thus far. The chemistry between the gemstone family has been great. Interested to see where it goes.

It's pretty good. As much as I like McBride/Goodman/Goggins, Edi Patterson's stealing the show, though.

Anyone been watching this? Looking at you viced. Watched 15 minutes of the first episode then turned it off because it SUCKED. Just kidding... But I did watch 15 minutes and then turn it off... because I wasn't really in the mood, but mainly because I'm just gonna wait until the season is over to binge it.

That finale was one of the funniest episodes of tv that I’ve seen. 😂
Show was firing on all cylinders. Damn.

Edi Patterson deserves the Supporting Actress in a Comedy Emmy. Close it up, the race is done. That Outback monologue was harrowing and hysterical.

Finally watched it, dazed ... loved it. Probably the best and most complete first season of any of McBride's shows, and those shows just got better as they went along (outside of Eastbound & Down season 2). Might have gotten a bit too batshit at times (the grocery cart scene, too much Scotty), but overall unbelievably hilarious with some nice moments of heart. And this is already one of the GOAT TV comedy ensembles tbh. Further proof that John Goodman is a legend ("get nekked"), McBride not stretching himself but still hilarious, Patterson and Devine perfect... and Goggins adding yet another legendary performance/character to his TV résumé. Even Jody Hill with hardly any lines had me laughing my ass off (loved DGG's cameo too). Shoutout to the excellent flashback episode too (and the kid that played young Jesse)... and my new favorite song... Misbehavin'. Kathy Bates needs to play Eli's sister in season 2 btw.

I'm caught up. Didn't dig S1 besides some of the cast - Danny McBride, Adam DeVine, Goggins, an underrated Cassidy Freeman. But.....Who the hell is this Scotty actor and why'd they focus on him so much like he's a co-lead or something? One of the most annoying characters ever. Soundtrack note - I think they have Neil Diamond's Holly Holy in an earlier ep, at the church lunch... it's such an effective song on screen. See: Midnight Mass. Also, the whole series is very much a sanct Succession. S2 already sooooooo much better. With an assist from, why I'm watching the show tbh, my Eric Roberts who is so good you'd never guess he's spent the last ten plus years doing over 300 z-grade movies. He's got the spark, the charm, the humor. I'm hoping HBO deals him around. Cast him as Jean Smart's bf in Hacks S2 or give him his own thing, he deserves it. S2E3, Edi Patterson's "Wtf you're dating??" got a huge laugh outta me.

I imagine Judy had to use her feminine wiles to corner the HBO exec in the bathroom to convince them of this.
