Oof, tough break for the dude who put a "T" at the end of William Jennings Bryan in Final today.

That T... I was like, just say it's an exclamation point!
Tmrw night is Ken's last show hosting, for now. I have a feeling viewers are gonna want him back even after the various guest hosts.

Truly shameful that only one contestant got today's Final about movie directors. The mentioning of a sequel in the context of Oscar wins should have been a dead giveaway...

What do we think about how the exec producer is doing as guest host? Think he’s been doing a good job

What do we think about how the exec producer is doing as guest host? Think he’s been doing a good job Considering he was apparently a last minute replacement, he's been doing pretty fantastic. A nice rapport with the contestants, but without the slightly try-hard vibe you got from Ken. Also, shame on those three plebs tonight for not seeing Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. Though at least the dude that got the Altman clue won again.

I've been trying to figure out where I've seen the current champion Michael Colton's face before, so I looked him up and remembered he was a regular on the VH1 show "I Love the '80s" back in the day lol.
His story about him proposing to his wife was one of the funniest contestant interviews in a while.

Richards is still hosting just for this week, and then Katie Couric takes over on March 8. Dr. Oz comes in on March 22, and then Aaron Rodgers on April 5. Each will have a two-week stint. For some reason, I thought that Rodgers would only be doing a single episode, but I'm fine with this. More excited about him hosting than anyone else tbh.

Another Final where a contestant is off by a single letter. Stupidly easy one too. As the resident classical music nerd on this board, smh at no one knowing Clara was Robert Schumann's wife. My response to Katie Couric referring to the contestants as "brainiacs" in a very mom-ish way:

Does anybody else really hate Katie Couric in this role? She sounds so condescending all the time. And she insincerely laughs at her own jokes the way my dad does, and all of her mannerisms make me want to turn the show off. I've never wanted to quit Jeopardy before, but she is just awful.

I don't hate her, but the way she lavishes praise on the contestants for how "incredibly smart" they all are does kind of give her a cringey kindergarten teacher vibe.

Okay, from now on the end of every episode needs to feature a different musical artist performing the Jeopardy theme with their own lyrics...

Having a charlatan "doctor" who promotes pseudoscience guest host a show about facts is..... a choice.
Even if Oz weren't a quack, he's still a terrible host - a voice like nails on a chalkboard, completely wrong energy, very rough demeanor. The blunt way he says "No" when someone answers incorrectly is kind of funny though.

I'll take Oz, who at least speaks like a normal person, over Couric any day. She was awful and talked to the contestants, as Cake said, like a kindergarten teacher.
Today's Final was a lay up, no? Even specifying the winter months! Despite the very short win stint I'm gonna miss Nick, he made me laugh.

Dr. Oz is a piece of shit and was fucking terrible hosting his first Jeopardy episode. Not looking forward to two weeks of this. I hope Aaron Rodgers is next (he could possibly end up being bad as a host, but at least I’m interested to see how it goes unlike Dr. Oz who almost made me not finish the episode).

Don't think I've cringed harder during a contestant interview than when watching Oz try to conduct along with the dude whistling Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik (while somehow thinking that's a special skill worth sharing on TV).
