I hope everyone saw Thunder Road because Jim Cummings could very easily get multiple nominations for that, at the very least a Best actor nod. Same with Daveed Diggs in Blindspotting.
Also maybe I’m in the minority on this but I thought Philip Etinger was wonderful in his limited screentime in First Reformed.

@ Ryan_MYeah besides Cold War and Birds of Passage, here what that list is missing that you should prioritize: Shoplifters (it's online in HQ with proper subs, let me know if you need links) The Rider Suspiria Shirkers McQueen The Realm Minding the Gap Stan & Ollie

Here's another 2018 film I watched recently and I found it pretty fantastic. Top tier Shunji Iwai and definitely among the best films of the year:

Sucks that this is struggling for interest. I'm kinda confused as to why. The 2008 ones even hit 20 Ballots, so I would have expected this to breeze to 30 - 40 voters. Anyway, I guess it gives people more time to watch Funny Cow and vote for Peake and Armstrong.

We deserve some residuals from the studio for the amount of campaigning we're doing for it.

Thanks guys! This gives me time to see Birds of Passage, Shoplifters, and High Life. Don't count my ballot just yet.

Some late FYC: Michelle Pfeiffer (for lead actress) & Kiefer Sutherland (for supporting actor) - "Where is Kyra?"Anya Taylor Joy and Olivia Cooke are both great but let's not forget Anton Yelchin for best supporting actor in one of his final performances ("Thoroughbreds") Anne Hathaway was the highlight of " Ocean's Eight" in a scene stealing turn "Mandy" was not the only great performance Andrea Riseborough delivered this year. She was also amazing in "Nancy"Matthew McConaughey also deserved more love for "White Boy Rick"Sam Elliott was the best part of "A Star is Born": For performer of the year, let's remember that Dakota Johnson finally ended her "Fifty Shades" franchise and was in two of the best films of the year, delivering charismatic and compelling work in both of them. ( "Suspiria" and "Bad Times at the El Royale")

Picked up Creed II, At Eternity’s Gate (can’t believe that slipped my mind), and Stan & Ollie at Redbox. Also got Funny Cow through FandangoNow.
Gonna do some serious binging.

Watching Creed II made me realize something.
Ya’ll BETTER be showing up for Tessa Thompson in Sorry to Bother You!

I will vote, it'll just be very close to the deadline. Things are busy but hopefully I can get some more movies in.

I voted before the original deadline, but I've since seen Bad Times at the El Royale... can I revote or would that be impossible to calculate?

Get your asses voting, people. Spoiler-y pro-tip: The Favourite doesn't need any more help. Spread the love. I feel really bad for giving The Favourite three spots on Best Actress, but I couldn't help it

I'm sooo far behind, I don't feel comfortable voting yet. Only 32 movies (if I include YWNRH) that I've seen.
Anton Yelchin totally deserves love for Thoroughbreds though.

I'm sorry I have not voted sooner, but I refused to call my 2018 complete until I saw Burning, which I tragically missed. I am glad that I waited, because it came all over my lineups.

Picked up Mandy from Redbox, and Shoplifters from FandangoNow. Only got six movies left, and I should be finished.

Picked up Mandy from Redbox This is very appropriate for several reasons.

since there's a little time left, I'll take one last opportunity to plug On My Skin, the true story about the last days of Stefano Cucchi before he died in police custody in 2009 after torture, beatings and neglect for a minor drug offense. If for no other reason, watch it for Alessandro Borghi's stunningly vulnerable and haunting lead performance. I watched it on Netflix a few months ago and if it's still there (I assume that it is) and you have the time, please consider giving 100 minutes of your time to watch it. Borghi's performance really is transcendent.

Tim Blake Nelson in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs Tessa Thompson in Sorry to Bother You
Ya’ll better have given them some love, or I’ll silently judge you.
