Browsing horror films on letterboxd and came across this spooky beauty from '82. Don't know anything about it but just LOOK at that sharp contrast, you could cut yourself on it. Black on a solid blood-red backdrop... can't go wrong.

Haven't seen this Mexican sorority-horror called Even the Wind is Afraid (1968) but may have to!

Three that caught my eye today. Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion (1970) which is masterful, and two I haven't seen: Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace (1962) and Un Detective (1969)

People who work on the Criterion Collection covers have seriously outdone themselves with their new ones. These are flat-out works of art at this point...

Criterion channel next month is adding all five Greek films helmed by Nikos Papatakis - haven't seen 'em, pretty excited. This poster, his debut Les Abysses (1963) has me hooked.

Great choices, SZilla. Just rewatched Nightmare Alley the other day and I'd not seen that poster before.
