Wow, didn't actually expect Houses of the Holy to make the top 10. "The Rain Song" and "Over the Hills and Far Away" are my two favorite songs of theirs, and the riff to "The Ocean" is awesome with its off-kilter rhythm.

Well, it's the best thing The Clash ever did that's for sure and it's a groundbreaking album too - this and Machine Gun Etiquette to me are the 70s UK albums from the first wave groups that pushed punk towards the first wave of US Indie - a lot of great stuff came from it. I still play it, and of course, classic album cover.......

Like it more than Dark Side and Animals, not as much as The Wall, so happy with this even if I think it's a little high.

Dark Side of the Moon is still their best to me, but this would be a close second. Every song on it is a masterpiece.

Pink Floyd's best album -- glad to see it higher than Dark Side of the Moon and comfortably within the top ten.

I love Television but this is too high for me. The first side is great, the second side is just good but it's a classic of its type and unique in how well it's played and performed. I'm happy to see it here anyway and I'd also point out that this album, which widely considered a classic did not even chart - nothing, didn't crack the top 200 and it was a major record back in '77 even.
It sets up the 80s in that way - the best Rock was not on the radio or (much) on the charts.....

Pink Floyd's greatest achievement. I can't sing its praises enough. Should've been #1.

Little long for me to put this high, but definitely their finest hour. Shame it's come to be defined by that one song.

Finally this list starts to take on a pacinoyes feel - Just a classic record in its playing, subject matter, style. This finished higher than I had it on my personal list which is really saying something!

Hmmmmmm...........Um, I like it but I have a hunch I'm gonna hate it when I see what it kept off this list. I mean there's 2 spots and they better be Stones records AND Big Star 3rd and Tonight's the Night aren't on this list......it's good but it ain't that good
