Three Identical StrangersSTATS / Misc- The Favourite predictably leads the pack with 6 wins. Its closest competition is Beale with three big wins of its own, while First Reformed, Burning and First Man picked up two each. - Of the 51 films nominated across 22 categories, 12 took home wins. - Going by my 2018 rankings, my favorite film to not receive a single nomination was A Prayer Before Dawn at #19. - The Rider, Support the Girls and Buster Scruggs (the latter of which was the evening's most-nominated film with 12 mentions) did not receive any awards, though Scruggs came close a few times and Jandreau was my runner-up. - Check out my Top 20 of 2018 on Letterboxd! May add write-ups at some point for at least the top 10. But until then, thanks for watching and see you next year!

I've already accepted that MAR's favourite film of the year is not mine -- but that Schrader win was a god-tier unexpected break from the sweep.
Overall the Tommen Awards get my seal of approval, even if I find a few things to be a bit disagreeable. Well done, very nice presentation!
