O.J. Made in America is better in all arenas, but I think that if you watch the FX show first, you'll appreciate the doc more, whereas if you watch the doc first, you might not like the FX show quite as much.

I kind of imagine myself not getting around to seeing both anyway, so I donĀ“t think that would be too much of a problem

I watched the doc and then tried to watch the tv show. Barely made it through the first episode, so terribly acted and on-the-nose.
Made in America on the other hand is one of the masterpieces of last year that will be remembered for many years.

Agreed with Stephen. If you're going to watch both then watch American Crime Story first. If you're only interested in/have time for one, then definitely go with Made in America.

Made in America on the other hand is one of the masterpieces of last year that will be remembered for many years. The first couple of episodes are absurdly camp, lean far too heavily on the awful Cuba Gooding Jr. and are clearly heavily influenced by Ryan Murphy. Once you get to episode... I want to say 3 or 4 the tone definitely changes, it becomes far less stupid, less Ryan Murphy, and more Alexander and Karaszewski. It's a black comic masterpiece.

Made in America by far. So much more gripping and enlightening.
American Crime Story is worth watching for Brown and Vance.

I have completed till the third part of the docu and agree a lot with this. It's pretty brilliant so far although I really loved the TV show as well.

I watched the Doc and found it absolutely spectacular, brilliantly made. Saw the first episode of the Tv Show, and found it really terrible, Cuba was just sooo bad. But maybe I will give a few more episodes if it does really get better.
