State Trooper and those yelps/howls - scary stuff. The only thing I got.......been bothering me my whole life.
That's my fave Springsteen record. Can we get to the best albums of the 80s already? Geesh

They're total different things so it is so hard to compare the one so comparatively impressionistic, and the other so straightforward with its narrative, but I lean towards Highway Patrolman. It's got the full on weight of a movie in five and a half minutes, and when they turned it into an actual movie it just couldn't compare.
