final trailer this thing premiers in four days what the hell It must be tracking poorly or something. This is a desperate move. Given how much the last trailer spoiled, I don't want to click on this.

I'm surprised it's doing so well critically so far with 71 at MC and 88% at RT. I'm not sure how well it will do though because Us just came out two weeks before, and Shazam! will probably do great business. Then in two weeks The Curse of La Llorona comes out, and that's part of the Conjuring universe.

The movie is tracking fine, reviews are solid, and presales look to be fairly strong. I wouldn't be surprised if it opened with around 30m, which would be quite good, especially given, to my best knowledge, it's not a particularly big budgeted flick.

Really? is Conjuring the MCU equivalent of horror? are we to look out for a possible merger of two studios so that Michael Myers can become a part of the Conjuring universe?

I like a couple films from the Conjuring franchise but turning it into a cinematic universe is lame. Marvel planned their cinematic universe from the beginning but the rest are just shoehorning and making up things as they go.

I'm not optimistic about this.
