McTeer was robbed. Hard.
Mulligan's in for the wrong film and Woodley is horrendous.

I seem to be the only one in the world bummed that Von Sydow missed.

FUCK YES MULLAN!
Other notes: Screw y'all for snubbing Girl Walk: All Day. But then, I'm probably the only voter who's seen it. I shoulda drafted Film Socialism and Buscemi to push it with me.
Chastain should be here for The Debt. Just saying.
Andy Serkis missed. Damn you.

take out Clooney and that lineup would be perfect I just realized Gosling missed. Swap him in. Bichir, Gosling and Harrelson over Clooney, Pitt and Fassbender. Then you've got a hell of a lineup.

Can I just say how very pleased I am by the amount of love for The Artist? Even though Bejo missed, I'm delighted that an under-discussed Best Picture like that still manages to do well in a year with a lot of cinephile favorites.

Mullan + Colman = Heaven
Too bad Andy Serkis didn't get the spot he deserved. I imagine category splitting hurt him.

A Separation made a big showing. Now let’s show About Elly a big one in 2009.
