I know there's already a thread for her but it's her 50th birthday!!!! My favorite favorite actress forever ❤️
Quick questions about her:
1. One director you wanna see her work with. 2. A movie role from past (as in 60s or something) she'd be a great fit for in a remake. 3. An actor/actress you wanna see her work with. 4. Her most underrated work.

1. Paul Thomas Anderson. She almost worked with Herzog as well, which would've completed my holy trifecta. 2. I think she would've been a really good casting for just about any Hitchcockian blonde, but especially Joan Fontaine in Suspicion. 3. Nicolas Cage. 4. I don't think she gets enough love for King Kong, but she really doesn't get mentioned at all for her excellent work in Fair Game.

1. One director you wanna see her work with. - Oh my god so many! My top 3 are Mike Leigh, Denis Vileneuve, and PTA (most of us agree on that one). 2. A movie role from past (as in 60s or something) she'd be a great fit for in a remake. Not really that far in the past, but speaking of PTA, she would've done a great job as Julianne Moore's character in Boogie Nights 3. An actor/actress you wanna see her work with. Kidman is obvious, but the idea of her and Julianne Moore in a movie together is delightful too. 4. Her most underrated work. I thought she did incredible work in The Sea of Trees. I love her and McConaughey together.

1. I would love to see her work with Edgar Wright someday. It'd be unconventional but so much fun. PTA, Fincher and Wes Anderson would be great too. 2. Agree with Stephen. She'd be a great hitchcockian blonde. I would love to see her redo Marnie or The Birds. 3. Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Joaquin Phoenix, Cate Blanchett, Jessica Chastain, Maggie Smith. 4. Ellie Parker! One of the best comedic(?) performances. And I will never not bring up the fact that she's legit hilarious in Movie 43.

1. Spike Jonze
2. Nothing comes to mind immediately, but I adore her as a comedic actress, so definitely something in that vein.
3. Vera Farmiga and Colin Firth
4. Mother and Child, which I think is her best performance.

1. David Fincher 2. The Birds (cliche as hell but imo she'd be perfect in a Hitchcock type film) 3. Brad Pitt 4. Ned Kelly (her chemistry with Heath Ledger was great. I really like this small budget film a lot )

Happy bday. Her 00s run is enough for me to be one of my favourities, she's like the underground version of her best friend ( Nic ) her choices during that decade were pretty bold, even today in so-so projects, but fingers-crossed for better things to come
