IMO, this is a very crappy poll and I kind wish I voted but at the same time, not really. One of the most asinine sentences I've ever had the displeasure of reading on here. We need a dislike button

Also, it'll never cease to amaze me when people come into these things and dismiss the results, when they couldn't even take a small amount of time to contribute to them. For real. This is just for fun, you lames. And as far as I'm concerned, Led Zeppelin is way too high anyway. Wouldn't even make my Top 75 or so. Time spent complaining a band didn't place higher is time you could be spending branching out your pedestrian taste in music Well, that's not entirely fair. People are entitled to their opinions, even if they don't participate in things. I didn't vote for the American presidential elections because, well, I'm not even american, but I have an opinion about who won or who should have won. And of course, when it comes to music, it is all subjective. Saying someone has a pedestrian taste in music seems a bit pretentious to me, and not more mature than dissing someone who complains about the results. Of course this is just for fun. I don't think the comments about who should place higher or lower need to be taken all that seriously.

Damn, completely forgot to vote for this. Had I voted, Winehouse would be at #15. Nice list, overall. You guys have a great taste. EDIT: Why the f*** isn't Michael Jackson in this list?! Michael Jackson just missed.

Fully agreed that it's all subjective. The pedestrian comment is just a dig, like many of the other comments on here are.

Really, Prince so low. He was my #2. Honestly kinda expected him in the 15-20 range. Love the Queen placement

Next time just ask for the best Rock band artists of all time. I understand that very few people participated but I find this list to be incredibly oriented and boring. MUSIC isn't very well represented here, imho. Not even Michael Jackson or Stevie Wonder ? Bob M. ? Otis ? Marvin... C'mon.

Really not that hard to put a list together of your favorite music artists... C'mon.

Thanks for doing this, Joaquim! Glad to see The Smiths so high on the list since they tend to be pretty divisive. Very happy that Sleater-Kinney made it in, but disappointed that The Clash was so low on the list. They're so much better than The Ramones.

The post above mentioning Elvis reminded me how pleased I was that Elvis Costello was ranked ahead of regular Elvis. Definitely my favorite Elvis.
