And here’s my first “why?!” win. This movie’s fights are cool and all, but it is so prolonged (how many gut punches and head bashes can one man take?!), so perfectly choreographed, that not only does it feel like an extended dance, but seeing the same moves five-thousand times gets pretty desensitizing.

Just now catching up... really the only comment I have is that The Master's original score win is just, bizarre. I love Greenwood and his work there is pretty incredible, but Cloud Atlas and Beats of the Southern Wild have two of the best scores of the decade, hands down. Feels like a no-brainer to me.
And yeah, Django's original screenplay win blows. Not that it's bad per se, but I think almost anything else would've been better.
