Oh honey, what a coincidence I'm going to be in Angoulême in February 2019 doing a bikini shoot... Does anyone know what hotel he'll be staying in?...

Apparently, Wes had a hand in picking the French actors who dubbed Fantastic Mr Fox, here are some of the names who voiced characters (and just thinking about a few of these working with him is pretttty exciting) :
Daniel Auteuil, Isabelle Huppert, Jean-Pierre Léaud, Romain Duris, and - two who were in Grand Budapest - Mathieu Amalric, Léa Seydoux…..

I would actually like to see Redmayne in a Wes Anderson film. Somehow I feel that he would be a good match.

I figured the Oscar winner was Frances McDormand, since she was also in Moonrise and Isle of Dogs, but I'd love to see Emma Stone join this.

Would they make a big deal out of it and be purposely secretive if it was someone he's already worked with like McDormand or Blanchett? Agree that Stone would be great but I would also love to see Sam Rockwell in a Wes Anderson flick.

Wes once said "Johnny Depp is somebody who I would love to work with at some point." He speaks French and sings! I'd go him over Pitt......
Also all is for naught if Huppert isn't cast.

That's the best information about this project yet. I really hope this is true. Then I'm totally on board.

Ah :/ A Wes Anderson musical is just what I need to be happy in this grim world. I hope it turns out to be false.

Yeah, I was way more interested in the prospect of him doing a musical ... especially if Desplat was gonna be writing the score. This new premise sounds lame as hell.

Incredible cast. And not for the first time in a Wes Anderson movie. I guess this shows he has quite a standing among the acting branch and they love to work with him.
