Cranston > McShane > Gandolfini.
Odenkirk is creeping up the list, slowly but surely.

I see The Sopranos a little different than most - to me that show only worked when Gandolfini was front and center or in conflict with someone truly memorable - Richie Aprile or Ralph specifically - the minute that show went off him to the other family, my brain clicked off, but when he was on he was spellbinding. I actually think Breaking Bad stole and improved the arc of the show - like Breaking Bad seems like a 75 episode (or whatever) movie - the filler seems like pacing - and The Sopranos looks like a movie but to me feels and follows a TV pattern - good episode X 4 ............great episode............repeat. Breaking Bad never went off Walt - even if the action didn't surround him, it was through his focal point.
I like all 3 of them all but I really am stunned that Gandolfini could do something special with something that should have been played out by that time........

All 3 probably land in my all-time top 10. Ranked:
1) Gandolfini 2) Cranston 3) McShane
