You think it'll be more frontloaded than A Wrinkle in Time?

You think it'll be more frontloaded than A Wrinkle in Time? No, A Wrinkle in Time was released in March, Christopher Robin was released in the Summer. Very different release and time periods.

Was hoping it would do better. Poor Pooh. Does anyone know what the budget was?

Fine for CR. Excellent drop for Fallout, though. Make that money, Tom. I didn't know there were two Pooh movies and was so confused when I saw that the other one was on cable. I was for days. LMAO

Somehow I wish Christopher Robin would have done better. Kids not appreciating something like Winnie the Pooh is exactly part of the problem of today's youth if you ask me. deadline.com/2018/08/tom-cruise-mila-kunis-box-office-mission-impossible-fallout-christopher-robin-spy-who-dumped-me-1202439507/MB RANK FILM DIST SCRS(CHG) FRI SAT SUN 3-DAY TOTAL WEEK 1 M:I – Fallout Par/Sky 4,395 (+9) $9.8M $14.7M $10.5M $35M (-43%) $124.4M 2 2 Christopher Robin Dis 3,602 $9.5M $8.6M $6.9M $25M $25M 1 3 Spy Who Dumped Me LG 3,111 $5M $4.1M $3.2M $12.3M $12.3M 1 4 Mamma Mia 2 Uni 3,359 (-155) $2.8M $3.4M $2.7M $9M (-40%) $91.3M 3 5 Equalizer 2 Sony 2,725 (-663) $2.4M $3.6M $2.7M $8.8M (-37%) $79.9M 3 6 Hotel Transylvania 3 Sony 3,162 (-843) $2.4M $3.2M $2.5M $8.2M (-33%) $136.4M 4 7 Ant-Man & The Wasp Dis 2,233 (-780) $1.8M $2.5M $1.8M $6.1M (-29%) $195.4M 5 8 The Darkest Minds Fox 3,227 $2.3M $2M $1.5M $5.8M $5.8M 1 9 Incredibles 2 Dis 1,802 (-814) $1.4M $2M $1.5M $5M (-31%) $583.1M 8 10 Teen Titans Go! So this movie apparently won't be getting a China release any time soon due to....interesting political connections there. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-45083944I think the most it can do at point is to probably break even elsewhere by a few weeks.

Its budget is apparently 75m. I think it'll do fine. WOM seems very good, and it should have fine legs throughout August as well.

Pooh and Tigger are just too punk rock and subversive for China I guess. Its budget is apparently 75m. I think it'll do fine. WOM seems very good, and it should have fine legs throughout August as well. because you said it was 75m, I thought you were talking about MI: Fallout. I can't believe Christopher Robin is that much The production design was very nice. That stuff costs money. There was also some CG although I think they switched between that and puppets for the characters.

Seems like a waste of money. Nobody is spending money to see this movie to gawk at the CG of Eeyore. Could've used puppets and made the same amount of money
