Saoirse Ronan
Emma Watson
Alicia Vikander
Jennifer Lawrence
Rooney Mara
Mia Wasikowska
For me-
1. Saoirse Ronan (the best actress with her age range and I wonder why she doesn't get cast in more big stuff. Do casting directors just not think she's pretty or something?)
2. Rooney Mara
3. Mia Wasikowska
4. Jennifer Lawrence
5. Alicia Vikander
6. Emma Watson (hasn't really found her niche post-Harry Potter)

01. Vikander 02. Wasikowska 03. Ronan ... 04. Lawrence 05. Watson 06. Mara
The first three are pretty consistently incredible and among the best working right now. Lawrence was amazingly good once and mostly competent other times. Watson has shown flashes of greatness across a couple performance but it's never come together long enough to last a whole movie. ... I'm pretty sure Mara can read.

ChairfaceC that avatar doe To the OP: Mara, Wasikowska, Ronan-Lawrence, Vikander-Watson Looove Mara, Wasikowska is great, but not seen much from her, Lawrence used to be on top, but has made shitty career choices lately, and Ronan hasn't been challenged half as much as the Top 3, tho nails whatever she has done (barring Brooklyn, and don't get her Atonement love, as much as I love the movie) Not a fan of the rest 2, tho Perks was good?

1. Saoirse Ronan: Most range, most expressive, most talented of this bunch.
2. Rooney Mara : Good range, lots of talent, star quality.
3. Mia Wasikowska: Really good actress.
4. Jennifer Lawrence : High star wattage, talented enough.
5. Emma Watson: Found her compelling in Perks of Being a Wallflower.
6. Alicia Vikander: Haven't been impressed with her except for the long conversation scene with Gleeson in Ex Machina. I do not find any star quality in her although others see it.

1) Alicia Vikander - has just blown me away in everything I've seen her in.
2) Saoirse Ronan - same thing here, especially in Brooklyn.
3) Rooney Mara - considerable range from TGWTDT to Carol, and mostly picks interesting projects.
4) Jennifer Lawrence - has proved she can be truly exceptional (Winter's Bone), and is generally very good.
5) Mia Wasikowska - I'm the least familiar with her filmography, but she's a very solid actress that, since Alice in Wonderland, has picked almost nothing but small, interesting movies that I respect her for.
6) Emma Watson - she is the worst of this bunch, but that's not so say she's bad. She was my favourite of the Potter trio, was decent in The Bling Ring and Perks of Being a Wallflower, and looks pretty great in Beauty and the Beast.

Alicia Vikander - got my attention in 2011 with Pure and has held it ever since. Between that, Anna Karenina and A Royal Affair, she showed more range than most actors do in their lifetimes.
Saoirse Ronan - an effortless, poised actress with a particular gift for bringing life to quiet characters.
---------
Emma Watson - I think she has incredible potential but has yet to find the right director.
Mia Wasikowska - one-trick pony, and she's not that good at it. But she picks interesting projects.
---------
Rooney Mara - I was a Kate Mara stan for years before Dragon Tattoo came out...and I just don't think Rooney has her naturalism or charisma. She comes across very forced and robotic.
Jennifer Lawrence - Winter's Bone was one of the most stunning breakthroughs in recent memory. Since then she has completely lost her touch. I don't know how to put this eloquently, but she comes across as a very stupid person through her acting. Her lines readings are weird, she's bad at reading her costars and reacting accordingly, she's inconsistent from one scene to the next...I remember in an old interview she said she has no acting process and relies on her intuition. That worked for Winter's Bone, but in everything else it, to me, manifests as a lack of insight and emotional intelligence.

Alicia Vikander - I'm a fangirl. I first saw her in Ex Machina and was blown away. After that, I went back to her Swedish filmography and made sure to watch everything she's been in. She's phenomenal, a fantastic combination of rawness and intelligence. I think she's going to have a fantastic career.
Saoirse Ronan - I haven't seen that much from her yet but from her turn in Atonement, everything I've seen from her has been top-notch. She gives me the feeling that there's a lot more that we haven't seen yet and that's mostly why I wanna rank her second.
Rooney Mara - I don't get a lot of star power from her but I love her career choices and the range she has showed. I think she will only get better with time.
Mia Wasikowska - She's great and whenever I find out she's in something, my anticipation for it grows. I feel kinda bad ranking her fourth but I'm missing a little more vulnerability from her to further conquer my heart.
Jennifer Lawrence - If only she had lived to the promise of Winter's Bone...
Emma Watson - Huh?

1. Saoire Ronan: The best with the most versatility out of the bunch. I loved her since Hanna, but The Atonement was super good too.
2. Jennifer Lawrence: She’s defiantly the more dynamic of the girls, who has a strong on-screen presence. Her only problem is that I can’t see her playing a completely docile character. All of her roles so far have had a sense of command or strength to them; even with they’re being selfish or afraid.
3. Rooney Mara: I like her but she never seems to play anyone happy or light. There always some shade of blue to her. She the complete opposite of Jennifer. But when she’s good (GWTDT, Carol), she’s good.
4. Alicia Vikander: She alright. I have only liked her in the Danish Girl (where she was fraudulently placed in supporting). Nothing else screams out to me. I can’t see her as a woman yet because she’s so frail, so I can’t picture her as Lara Croft.
5. Mia Wasikowska: She too subtle for my liking. Her introverted style of acting isn’t my thing, but she’s okay. 6. Emma Watson: little miss try-hard. I only liked her in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

1. Rooney Mara - So, so awesome in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, loved her so much in Carol and Side Effects too.
2. Saoirse Ronan - Thought she was great in Hanna, but then she really went golden for me after Brooklyn.
3. Alicia Vikander - She's one who will be even more impressive in years to come, I don't think we've seen her greatest role yet.
4. Mia Wasikowska - I really sat up and took notice with Maps To the Stars, and she has a great look.
5. Jennifer Lawrence - Good actress but hyped over the moon and back and that might hurt her later in her career.
6. Emma Watson - She was great as Hermione but hasn't really wowed me since.

Saoirse Ronan - she's so young and very impressive.
Rooney Mara - really great when has the right part
Jennifer Lawrence- I find her the most watchable of the group
Alicia Vikander- she's a daring actress but lacklustre in some of her more mainstream roles
Mia Wasikowska- I find so bland
Emma Watson - should not even be considered amongst this lot, she's plain shit.

1. Mara - Probably the best film selection of this group. She's able to do great things with small, one-scene wonder parts, she's got great range, and I'll take her best over the others.
2. Ronan - Great range, comes off rather effortless, and showing tremendous growth all the time.
3. Lawrence - I may want her to redirect her career a bit, but she's still a terrific talent.
4. Watson - You'd think she shot someone's dog with the kind of venom spewed her way on here. She's great in Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, she has nice screen presence, and I appreciate the willingness to take some really eclectic roles.
5. Vikander - I really like her in Pure andA Royal Affair, but her 2015 output didn't impress me as much as it did others (have yet to see Testament of Youth, but so far her performance in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. > Ex Machina >>> The Danish Girl). Very interested to see how she does opposite McAvoy in Submergence, though.
6. Wasikowska - I like her, but she seems the most limited in range, though she can be good within that range (Stoker).
