like them both, but it's Natalie for me. She has the stronger slate of work and more range.
Natalie - Garden State / Jackie
Keira - It will always be Pride and Prejudice
looks-wise, they're both lovely

I don't think Knightley has that many highs, but I find Portman so self-conscious and try-hard.
Knightley: Pride & Prejudice (though I also dig Seeking a Friend for the End of the World a fair bit)

Portman for the win. They're both good and I'd say Knightley is more consistent, as Portman can get to lower lows that her twin only achieved with A Dangerous Method. But Portman's peaks (Jackie and Black Swan) are nearly unbeatable and all-time best material in my book.

Knightley's more attractive, and although I haven't seen her in much I definitely prefer her to Portman who is one on my least favorite actresses.

Portman and it's not even remotely close. While Portman can be hit or miss, when she hits, she's excellent. Knightley I've always found to be an absolute vacuum of screen presence, charm and depth. Portman wins in the look department by a long shot.
Portman: Black Swan (Severely ted with Jackie and Leon)
Knightley: Pride & Prejudice I guess.

Cold Mountain - Haven't seen all of it, just bits throughout the years on TV. but I've heard good things about her small performance. Leon the Professional And a bunch of smaller films which I'm interested in seeing. |
