Has anyone heard about this scandal where Oxfam workers were sexually exploiting Haitian minors and women? They were doing appalling things like offering food to starving girls in exchange for sex. And once this came to the attention of the leadership, they did such a piss-poor job of handling it not unlike the Catholic Church. The current CEO's defense was "well we weren't murdering babies in their cots." A good friend of mine did a documentary about it if you're interested. Please like and subscribe as he is doing a good thing creating shows exposing corrupt powerful people.

I've followed a little in newspaper sources and magazines and it's a very sad story - I'm not sure how much deeper it goes too. The response has been "a lot worse things happen in other Aid organizations" - almost like they didn't want to be bothered with it at all and were annoyed it came up and they had to address it

I've seen this defense strategy before...
Class: "HA HA! Billy picks his nose! Billy picks his nose!" Billy: "Yeah? Well Sarah picks her nose... AND THEN EATS IT!" Class: "HA HA! SARAH..."
