Where my girl Carrie Coon at? Yeah, I was hoping she was going to be one of the widows. How amazing would it have been to see her be one of the ones going ape shit after her husbands death? Like Viced said, she’ll probably get a minor FBI role and only been in it for a total of 5 minutes or so. Her not getting any billing isn’t a good sign. She's actually been confirmed as playing the 5th widow who clashes with the others when she doesn't join in on their heist. I suspect she might sell them out to the villains... Am worried about her not getting billed though. She's the biggest talent in an overwhelmingly talented cast...

huh, didn't realize this was a heist action thriller but it looks crazy entertaining and I'm lovin the political vibes in the trailer. It'll be cool seeing what McQueen does in this space. It's based on an.old UK tv show.

Maybe they’re trying to somewhat hide that plot line, which is the reason why she wasn’t in the trailer. At least that’s what I hope. Her not getting any billing is definitely worrisome. I agree, her talent is exceptional. Her performance in The Leftovers was amazing.

Honestly, if you leave the outstanding cast to one side, this really just looks like your standard high octane thriller. I would say I'm not expecting too much from it.

It looks solid enough, but I expected more with all the talent involved/prestige involved. I don't think it will make much of a dent in Awards Season either.

I guess it could throw up one of those random supporting acting nominations. I'm also really mixed on McQueen. I loved 12 Years, but I hated Shame and thought Hunger was merely decent.

I think Viola Davis is probably a strong contender just because she's Viola Davis and they love her, and I can see one of the other ladies getting in as well because Supporting Actress almost always sucks.

Yeah, you can never count out Davis. The academy obviously love her and they tend to be real lazy in supporting actress, which is a shame, as it always tends to be one of my more interesting personal lineups.

With McQueen, Flynn and that cast I'm sure it'll turn out better than it seems, but this trailer didn't do much to pique my interest. Didn't expect it to look so standard.

I dunno, its funny how trailers play differently on different people but that looked awful. I will argue that 12 Years A Slave is something close to a masterpiece - ok, that's a bit much but I do think it's a really great and perceptive film - and I've liked elements of his other films too.
But that trailer sucked, that dialog was cringe inducing, the acting was down to the standard of that dialog - except for Viola Davis who was several leagues below it (again out of context but just rating the trailer), judging from that trailer she was in full excruciatingly misguided and mannered form.
Hopefully just a bad trailer.......

What an amazing cast, and I'm excited to see what McQueen does with the thriller genre.

This looks pretty badass. Lack of Carrie Coon in the trailer aside, the cast looks pretty great. Very curious how much of Steve McQueen's typical directional style will be in this.

As soon as I saw Gillian Flynn, I scoffed loudly.
Decent trailer until that ending line.

Better than the first trailer, but I still don't really trust the way this is being marketed. I can't help but think this film has some angle that's not being shown in the trailers.

didn't care much for this trailer. It's feeling like a pretty generic crime actioner, but with this cast and crew I have no reason to bet against this thing. It's just a meh trailer.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO CATCH A GLIMPSE OF CARRIE COON???? Right? As you said her role sounds pretty vital. Hopefully they’re trying to hide that part of the story though. Idk why else she wouldn’t be shown or billed, unless her role is minor as fuck. Which would disappoint me.

She's the ringer they bring in to beat those rich kids!
