Atheist. I find the concept ridiculous, like really.

Christian, but I'm not an overly conservative one, so I believe in the possibility of a god more than anything.

a mix of atheist, agnostic, deist, and humanist.
basically i dont believe in organized religion. i err on the side of there not being a god. but every night i pray to some "thing." dont know what that thing is. dont know if its out of habit. dont know if its subconscious. dont know if its out of fear. dont know if its channeling the energy inside myself or the universt. but it is what it is.
though Buddhism is my favorite of the big ones that seems to most closely align with what i feel/think.

There's really only one "god" that matters: Everything else is just philosophy.

I would consider myself either Agnostic or a Deist, depending on my mood. I don't know if there is such a thing as God, I would like there to be, but I have no idea.

I'm a theist but more in the philosophical sense, I do not subscribe to any organised religion. I assume it's fair to say I have some very different views on religion than most people. To cut it short though, I do believe that essentially religion is about ways to cope with life and ideas about how to lead it the best (see Jesus and Buddha) which was then later dogmatised and abused, partly by power-hungry people (the catholic church). In that sense I think religion is a very human thing, some people were totally earnest about it as a means to lead a better life, others abused the movements that formed around it. We have that all the time in history, just look at the revolution in Russia for instance.
Personally I'm religious in a very belief centered way, where belief is the center and not god. Belief is important in my eyes because we can't prove anything. Essentially we all believe something, otherwise we'd fall apart. If we decide to name that god or anything else isn't that important. I recently talked to a guy orating funerals (in german there is a job definition for that but I don't know it in english) and he said that god's the term of everything we can't know. And I find that quite agreeable.
A book that really made me reconsider religion is Erich Fromm's To Have or To Be (it wasn't so much the overal narrative of the book, that was very basic but the guy had some great examples that considered religion in a historic sense) and a film that really made me reconsider is My Night at Maud's.
