Well on the small time film subjects that comprise the wasteland of US cinema in 2019 I'd rank this slightly higher on my to see list than the latest remake of Little Women and the Hitler satire but below the divorce movie ....then again I'm not the audience for this so what do I know.
Theron looks astonishing .....
David Ehrlich and IndieWire will no doubt love it and virtue signal their love of it to death just in case you aren't sure.....

Good trailer. Slightly satirical dark comedy-ish vibe.
All three of the main ladies look good, but apparently Kidman has the least screentime of the three, and that seems reflected in the trailer. Still, they all seem to be campaigning as a unit, so I think Kidman has a semi-decent shot of breaking into what looks to be a weakish supporting actress race, with Robbie as the biggest supporting shot for this movie. Theron looks pretty certain to get a Best Actress nod. It'll be interesting to see if another trio of actresses could get nodded for the same movie after The Favorite.
Has to be said, Kidman is remarkably unselfish as a major star. She said she mainly took on the role to support Theron in getting it made, knowing it would be more her showcase. She did the same thing for Julia Roberts in The Secrets Have Eyes, though that project didn't turn out so well.

John Lithgow looks on the periphery of things, but Charlize Theron produced this movie, so it's understandable that she'd concentrate the focus on her character and not do as much with Roger Ailes, like the recent Russell Crowe mini-series.
With so much focus on the women, and a pretty stacked supporting actor race, I don't think Lithgow stands much of a chance of a nomination unfortunately.

Nice trailer but what was the first one? The teaser?
Robbie looks solid and she might have a chance for a nod. Theron is more or less a sure thing.

yikes, so much for this being a straight drama. The ladies still look great but satire is not something I want to see from this group of filmmakers. Much less excited now, and I'm less sure of its awards potential outside of Theron/Robbie/makeup than I was yesterday. Maybe a screenplay nod, for all those zingers.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I can't say it looks good other than the actors.
I can see why there were so many comparisons to Vice, which I did not end up liking, but at least with Vice I went in knowing what McKay was trying to do and wanting him to succeed, but being disappointed that he failed.
With this I just don't really have any interest with the way the trailer presents the subject of Caucasian women working for Fox News and them being sexually harassed. Not that I would say that they deserve it, of course, but I would have been interested in more of a story that examines there part in normalizing Fox News while also including what Roger Ailes did to them. I don't know maybe the film actually does do that, but I didn't get the impression at all that it takes that angle at all.

wow the Billie Eilish music choice is just so cringeworthy in that trailer Sony is taking notes and cutting the next Little Women trailer to Sweet but Psycho.

Not nearly obvious enough for that marketing team. The trailer will just be an image of Malala Yousafzai and the actresses names on top of it.

It has Vice-ish tendencies but overall it does what Vice tried to do way more tolerably. The very unsubtle Trump era foreshadowing is incredibly aggressive in the beginning of the film, which is a bit bothersome, but there is far less talking to the camera and goofy made up scenarios for satirical effect and doesn’t feel like a headache.

Yikes, that song choice. This looks horrible. A movie about sexual harassment, yet it looks like a campy comedy? I knew they would get the tone all wrong. Also, I still don’t understand why Megyn Kelly is the focus of the film, this should be Gretchen Carlson’s story (like ‘The Loudest Voice’ accurately portrayed it to be. It also had an appropriately dramatic tone.)

Wow Lionsgate!
Damn, that make up artist who did Theron as Megyn Kelly is good. She looks exactly like her in this poster. It's in the little details.

The girl who says "Wtf was that" is the awesomely wonderful Bridgette Lundy-Paine from Netflix's "Atypical" ........Theron has Kelly's speech pattern cadence down too.

lol great performance from Theron obviously (I can't wait to watch this just for the ladies and the makeup) but oh my god the zooms in the clip make me feel like I'm watching Veep or something. Shows like The Office and Parks and Rec and anything created by Armando Ianucci made it IMPOSSIBLE to take cinema verite seriously anymore. What the hell was Roach & co thinking.
