Civil War isn't having Civil War-type legs?

Civil War isn't having Civil War-type legs? Lol, stupid me. I got the name's mixed up. Civil War's an infinity of a title.

BP has a bit to do with that I think.

BP has a bit to do with that I think. BP helps yes, but Marvel's consistent quality factor was probably the biggest reason. It's remarkable just how they've built-up their universe.

Damn, so Marvel is at a billion domestic already and the year isn't even halfway over.... And Ant-Man and The Wasp isn't even out yet. That won't be huge, but it should do respectable business, and it will have the IW hype to help it.

Damn, so Marvel is at a billion domestic already and the year isn't even halfway over.... BOM updated their studio market share chart today. Right now Disney's domestic numbers are standing at roughly 3x as much as the runner-up (WB).

And they still have Solo, The Incredibles 2, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Christopher Robin, Wreck-It-Ralph 2, and Mary Poppins Returns to look foward to. Damn, Disney almighty.

I remember when The Dark Knight came out, and it was a big deal when it limped over a worldwide billion, as I think it was only the 4th film to do so. 10 years on and Infinity War is the 34th to hit a billion worldwide, and it took barely over a week. I figure it's only a matter of time until something hits a billion in the US alone, perhaps it'll be the next Avengers.
