Still need to see this show Can't believe I've held off on binging on it (embarrassing I know) .
I'm also pretty sure the show runner is knee deep in post production on Pale Blue Dot & Legion season 3 at this time.

Still need to see this show Can't believe I've held off on binging on it (embarrassing I know) . I've only seen season one, but coming from someone who finds American television to be universally trash, I found it to be... quite good. In fact, it is nearly my favorite American show. It really could have used some trimming, but the story underneath the fat was lovely. All four leads were spectacular. Edit: Make that the whole cast is spectacular. David Carradine, Oliver Platt, Key and Peele -- they all bring their A-game.

I loathed season 3 so I feel like they should just let it die already.

finished season 3 a week ago, which i started when it aired but left it at first episodes.
it was brilliant!
i think this one had less idiotic characters than the movie and the first two seasons, hence it didn't peak my interest in the beginning.
by far the darkest and most stunning season!
fell in love with Carrie Coon.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead and David Thewlis were aces.

Chris Rock, is joined by Jack Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley, etc..... DeadlinePlot details in link; shoots this Fall in Chicago. Love some of these additions... Jack Huston has untapped talent, struggled with movie projects, but ace in Boardwalk Empire and hopefully here... Jesse Buckley who was very good, inhabitating a withering mental state, in Beast.... but since S1 I've thought Nina Arianda would be perfect for this show's tone....

Loves me some Timothy Olyphant , but Honestly, if the quality of the show ends up as piss weak as Season 3, they could cast all my favourite actors and I couldn't care less. They could bring Gene Wilder back to life, drag Gene Hackman out of retirement and cast Kathy Burke for good measure, but if I knew in advance that it was going to be Season 3 level, I'd give it a miss all the same. I want a return to the excellence of Season 1 & 2, and I wouldn't mind if they cast it with a bunch of folks I've never heard of.

seeing all the negative feedback for S3 makes me glad I stopped watching after S2. I really dug the style of the show but the stories never came together to a satisfying conclusion in the second half. The first two seasons both had great set-ups and great performances but disappointing payoffs.

Holy sh!t this looks amazing. Where else, what other movie or show, would we get Chris Rock and Ben Wishaw facing off without it feeling odd, and with that great dog eat dog dialogue bit. Still wish they got Nina Arianda for the Jessie Buckley part....

Anything with Jessie Buckley is a must-watch, so even after the dire third season, I guess I'm in.

I'm still terrified to watch S3. S1 was great and S2 was damn near all-timer level... but WOM on 3 is god awful.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must rewatch The I-Land.
