It's interesting in that in this big year of Broadway revivals - wait, it's always a big year for revivals because when is the last time there was a breakout play for a new non-musical anyway (God of Carnage or August Osage Count maybe?) - that this may be the consensus great production. We have AiA which will be the big deal and Tony winner I'm sure and O'Neill is always a big deal too but a whole lot of people will tell you Edward Albee is the great American playwright .......I mean he's certainly in the discussion.

Denzel Washington will be on this show this week also (4/29) talking Iceman Cometh - this is basically the only mainstream show that treats theater seriously in a pop sense on a continuous basis.
