You gotta see de Toth's Crime Wave ('54). It's srsly great, only 73-min.

Fräulein (1986) virtually unseen early Haneke. Very stylized, fast paced, well shot, sometimes feels like a cross between the French New Wave and Sirk. Haneke here is already splintering the family unit, a pet theme of his, while also making a pointed (and clever) critique of postwar Germany. Brimmed with music and movie references to boot.

The Day After's on my Watchlist. I liked The Day He Arrives but that's all I've seen from HSS.
I had one of my best film viewing months ever, three new top favorites + a rewatch that greatly elevated a film I already loved.
The Hourglass Sanatorium (1973) Irma Vep (1996) Return of the Living Dead (1985) - rewatch Phantom Thread (2017)
