That Tom Cruise horror movie, then Pacific Rim 2, and now Hellboy 3. What is Hollywood's problem with Guillermo?

That's really disappointing. I always wanted to see how del Toro would continue/conclude the series.

This makes me so sad especially since I was so hype after his tweets about meeting with Pearlman and he had that twitter poll that I watched like a hawk. It just feels so incomplete with out a third one to make it a trilogy. Damn.

Sad, but I'm not surprised. Production would have already started if they were actually making it, plus it's been over eight years since TGA came out.

He cost a lot, probably always require final cut and after Blade 2 I think only Labyrinth of Pan was a good money maker. It is limitating to rarely achieve commercial success, specially at those budget. For Pacific Rim 2, as of 2016 I'm not so sure how "hollywood" Legendary picture still is, it is what China problem with Guillermo ? And arguably, what is audience problem with him.

Unsurprising but still a bummer. I love the concept of what could have been and it sucks we'll never get to see it.
