We got some fans here, stephen and cheesecake to name a few. As S34 begins, who are your favorites returning? What are your favorite seasons, moments, whatever?

You know I'm stoked. As far as "Game Changers" goes, I'm rooting for J.T., Sarah, Debbie, and (of all people) Brad Culpepper. I always thought Brad got a bum rap and his pregame stuff this season has impressed me. Most of the presumed favorites I want to see go in the early jury phase, like Sandra and Tony.

Can't say that I'm on the Brad train at all. I'm so over these retired athletes who never play a good game and get much more airtime than other contestants just because they used to play sports. His best case scenario is going to the F3 as a zero-vote getter, IMO.
I hope Sandra makes it as far as she could, even if she (too) gets to the end and gets nothing out of it. Tony too. Last season was probably the gamebottiest season to date with a bunch of failed strategists (Still don't see why we needed Zeke two seasons in a row), so entertainment is key for me this season.

Oh, I'll take entertainment over gamebottiness every day of the week. But I also like to root for the underdogs and I thought Brad was a highlight on Blood vs. Water and, as I've said before, his game was actually pretty good for the general game but ill-fitting for the Redemption Island format. And Brad was entertaining in his reign on that game.
I really just want Sandra as the first juror, but I doubt she even makes the merge. The target is just too good to pass up, and I don't think she'll be as Teflon-slick as she was last time. People want to be able to claim they took down Sandra on their resume. Tony I expect to flame out early, but gloriously.

The cast is announced, so you don't have to spoiler-tag. I don't think Brad's elimination had much to do with the RI format, since his insistence on leadership put a target on his back, and his clumsy handling of it sealed the deal. He needs to take a backseat in the beginning. He's playing with people who've gotten quite a bit farther than him, save for the few other pre-merge boots. I would've preferred Monica being back, since she and Sandra would make an instantly comedic duo... or rivalry. "I can get loud too, what the fuck?!" "Excuse me, young lady... that's really not a nice way for you to talk."

And I would love to see Monica back. The neat lady got too harsh a treatment on that season.

I was the biggest Survivor fan, when I was a teenager. I was obsessed with the Survivor chat room at CBS and had all these online friends from there lol. My favourite season is season 2, The Outback. I loved Jerri and never understood the 'bitch' label. I thought she was quite pleasant and also really entertaining. I never trusted Elisabeth...I saw through her. Look who she is, now. Pffft. But yeah, some real memorable players in that season, and a great location. I also loved Gabon and China. Courtney is just such a lovable character lol. I found all of these past survivors on facebook the other day and was stalking them all lol. Colleen Haskell still exists! She was adorable.

I too was taken aback by how much people hated Jerri in 2001. She got the same outrage-hate that Colton got, even though she's nowhere near that bad.
Jerri was opinionated and should have picked her battles more carefully, but she's Mother Teresa (in her own words) when you compare her to people like Russell, Colton or Abi. I saw through Elisabeth but especially Tina. She deserved her win, but I don't like how she played: she formed a Moral Majority alliance in which the good Christians would win and voted off people who weren't as "deserving" as she was. That's why I wasn't too upset when she was voted off All-Stars first.
