For my money, I'd go with Kirk Hammett/James Hatfield, Slash/Izzy Stradlin, The Young Brothers (RIP Malcolm), Dave Murray/Adrian Smith, and to certain extent, Keith Richards and whoever else played guitar with during the Stones (though to be fair, I sort of consider him the sole guitarist).

Any of the great Thin Lizzy guitarists (Gorham, Bell, Robertson, Moore, Sykes) - Gorham and Robertson on Live & Dangerous especially.

Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo could make some pretty tremendous noise together in Sonic Youth.

The original Fleetwood Mac (the good one ) used 2 or 3 guitarists - here on Oh Well they used two - Peter Green and Danny Kirwan. Green of course is the better guitarist but Kirwan was no slouch at all and here he gets to show off.

Also, the original Alice Cooper (the band) had Michael Bruce and the great Glen Buxton who were great at trading off of each other and weaving in and out off each other too.

Got to go with Dickey Betts and Duane Allman of the Allman Brothers. Pure brilliance.

They only collaborated for one album but still legendary stuff.
