A lot of you don't seem to be surprised with this whole James Franco thing. Were you guys aware of these stories going around him before? I mean, I knew that scandal involving a 17-year-old before, but still... as for confirmed stories, well he went on kelly and Michael and discussed what happened. Thete was video so you can't get out of that one. I think he sent some 17 year old a message on instagram. Also confirmed, he admitted it and apologized for behavior. As for the school, no clue those are rumors. .. so based on that, we all know that james likes to hit on or date 17 year Olds. As for what ally Sheedy is talking about who knows, she deleted her message. If I had to guess, something she witness rather than experienced. |

It's more about not being surprised about anyone nowadays. If someone already had a scandal, I wouldn't be surprised if there was more. I mean, if Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer were guilty... Franco is scheduled to appear on Colbert tomorrow and Seth Myers on Thursday. I wonder if he cancels like Louis CK or if they ask him about the allegations.

If he gets an Oscar nomination and then that expose drops, I think all hell will break loose. Hypothetically, let's say that were to happen. What would they do? Can they rescind the nomination? They disqualified the Original Song 'Alone Yet Not Alone' a few years ago because of a campaign violation. I don't think they can police everyone's personal behavior (unless it was as big as Weinstein). They'd have to go back and revoke everyone's past awards for bad behavior. I mean, Casey Affleck just won last year and will be there again this year to present Best Actress... That's why it will be chaos because if the Academy becomes an organization about rescinding nominations based on personal behavior, that opens a door that's hard to shut for a lot of people to demand similar about other people. If the nomination remains, then will he show up? Cue the furious protests and bad press at a time where actresses are being very vocal for the first time about calling out the behavior he's being associated with. |

There are many things here that leave me thinking. First because wait for James Franco to win to talk. Second because an actress mentions the nude she had to do after signing a contract where it was established that a nude had to be done. And about Franco and the 17-year-old girl who happened in 2014, I understand that is the legal age in that state. Regardless of what people think about this apparently it was not a crime. |

Ally Sheedy's tweets...she did tag metoo but she didn't specify exactly what we are talking here so people assume the worst. Then she deleted these tweets. The only thing that is shocking to me is that other girl's tweet about the car - I always knew Franco was into young women but there always seemed to be consent.

The first tweet is like ughh....then you read it and ask yourself, okay, she tells us what he did but she fails to tells us her reaction. Just remember when you did this but what happened? Did you cuss his ass out, slap him what? Then she tells us that he asked her 17 year old friend to go to his hotel. Okay, we all know james likes 17 year olds. If if is not illegal then what is the point. As for the second girl, I'm not sure her point. |

People need to chill out if some guy decides to touch your shoulder. We need to worry about people like harvey, the rapist who used his power to make people's life miserable. |

Pretty funny you're assuming guilt considering your avatar. In my opinion, I'm fairly certain this is a bunch of hot air & Franco did nothing abusive or harassing. He's eccentric, but seems like a solid genuine dude. I hate to say this, cuz I've grown somewhat affectionate of Tommy Wiseau, but I always felt it was more likely that HE would have an award-season scandal than Franco. |

Appears they had complaints against them and the network buried it. Only became an issue after the Weinstein expose and people leaked internal complaints. |

I don’t really have an issue with what he done in terms of what the two girls are accusing him for honestly. Especially since Franco seemed to have been in a consensual relationship with the first girl. If he stopped after she resisted from him pushing her head down, then I don’t see a problem. I’ll wait and see if more accusers come out before jumping to conclusions. More importantly, what they have to say.

Nevermind those girls tweets because I don't even understand what's going on there. Is there any truth to an expose coming out about that acting school? That's what could cause problems, not so much a tweet about a girl who agreed to do a nude scene now regretting it.
