Yet another The Bobby Lees live performance - this time on Audiotree - this time with a previously unreleased song - and a couple of early albums obscurities. This band took 2 albums before they got really good - but everything on album 3 and this tour is the sound of America's Best Rock and Roll band being ascendant: Here they blow out a speaker, laugh charmingly at the dick of the drummer (who never wears pants) and respond with dead cool silence when the host mentions nonsense about representation and the Male Gaze...... Sam Quartin is legendary over this whole show - and the drummer and bass player are.......the best rhythm section going? 31 heart-stopping minutes:

This apparently has not been mentioned... how do our Smiths-heads feel about this? Archie I find it very lively. countjohn agree with me so your G. Stevens comment would be forgiven

There is a Light That Never Goes Out is such a great song that a standard guitar, bass, and drums cover with a decent singer is still going to sound great.
Loved that the whole audience knew all the words right away after just the first couple guitar chords though. Amazing what a classic song it's become when it was technically an album track.

CMAT Stay For Something on The Graham Norton Show Last Night (I guess?)One of the best songs - on one of the year's best albums - by Pop music's best songwriter atm (?).........is CMAT the greatest female artist that can ever be even remotely associated with "Adult Contemporary" music? She's not Adult Contemporary really - she's something far more subversive - but people who like this stuff don't know what they're missing and Pitchfork STILL has not reviewed ANY of her work
