Compared to the general population, you are: Extremely high on Openness Below average on Conscientiousness Below average on Extroversion Low on Agreeableness Average on Neuroticism According to a study done by Jeffery J. Mondak, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are: Not likely to discriminate on the basis of race or sexual orientation. More likely to be pro-choice rather than pro-life. Likely to feel trapped by the status quo. Likely to enjoy complex and abstract discussions. Likely to be more knowledgeable on academic topics. Less likely to have a tolerant attitude towards smoking. More likely to favor harsh criminal punishments over milder ones. Less likely to watch TV and read the news, preferring instead to follow your own interests. Less likely to mobilize your friends in your own interests, preferring instead to immerse yourself in your interests in solitude. Someone who seems impassive to others, while being in fact quite sure of your own views. More likely to frequently change jobs and partners. More likely to end up in jail or to get in trouble with the law. More likely to generally disagree with your immediate friends and family. More likely to stand your ground and push back against people who are hostile to you, or with whom you are in disagreement. More likely to support the use of capital punishment. Less likely to take a favorable view of government welfare programs.

Less likely to end up in jail or to get in trouble with the law. More likely to generally agree with your immediate friends and family. More likely to simply avoid people who are hostile to you, or with whom you are in disagreement. More likely to oppose capital punishment. More likely to take a favorable view of government welfare programs. The presidential comparison is disappointing since it seems to only take one or two similarities to get a match instead of looking for the closest approximation of the entire Big Five traits. The results as they relate to the Mondak study is more interesting to me.

Forgot to add in the results from the Mondak study:

-- This is definitely mostly accurate other than the points about being patriotic and favoring military intervention. And also I am quite neurotic.

LOL at that extroversion score. This test is a little too cut and dried -- made it far too easy to emphasize my introversion.

Uh... More likely to favor military intervention as a means of solving foreign policy problems. Absolutely not true.Less likely to think that international cooperation will solve foreign policy problems. Again, absolutely not true.More likely to take responsibility and to take an active interest in your community. I guess? I mean I donate to like kids sports teams and stuff, but I don't go to local town meetings or anything...More likely to be patriotic and proud of your country. Well I'm not ashamed to be American, if that's what it means.More likely to enjoy romantic fiction than the rest of the population. I do, truly love Rom Coms. This one is accurate. EDIT: Also... According to a study done by Jayme Neiman, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are:
Amazingly, your personality is simply too smooth and well-rounded for Dr. Neiman's study to be able to say anything about you. Thanks, Dr. Neiman!

Jefferson, like I expected: Okay, so the stuff the Mondak study found is incredibly obvious from my answers but how the fuck does Neiman know I love Broccoli? Average on Neuroticism & Extroversion is not necesarilly true though. I would personally say that in the first I'm above average and the later I'm below (oddly this would allign even more with Jefferson), I just have an easy time talking to people. The rest is probably true, though Conscientiousness is hard to describe, I think many people who know me would describe me as extremely conscientious (which would again allign even more with Jefferson) but that's not necesarilly true. I personally find it hard to judge. Also one thing I liked was when it asked you "Old Stuff is really cool?" And then immidatly afterwards "Modern Art is crap, right?".

theycallmemrfish - lol mikediastavrone96 - "The presidential comparison is disappointing since it seems to only take one or two similarities to get a match instead of looking for the closest approximation of the entire Big Five traits." - I actually don't think that's the case. It seems to look at the closest overall approximation. If you look at the others they match relatively closely. It seems that Obama was nontheless overall the closest for your scores, maybe because your pattern is relatively far away from all 25 presidents in the database. How do y'all get these extremely low openness scores?
