Thanos looks no better or worse then your average CGI comic book villain IMO. Also I quite like Brolin voicing him. The speech in the trailer sold me on him in the role. He's also going to be Cable. 2018 will be a huge year for Brolin.

I've been sick of Marvel lately too, but this looks pretty great. You have to admit - they know how to set up the universe. We need some major deaths soon though. If they follow the original storyline verbatim... it’s gonna be such a cop out.

That trailer took a while for me to get used to, but once that music started playing, and I heard Brolin's Thanos' voice-over, I was instantly into it. Also a lot of people are complaining about it, but I don't think Thanos CGI is that bad, it looks fine to me. The first scene he's in, in the trailer, the CGI looks a little off, but after that, he looks okay. They made him look like Josh Brolin, like, a lot like Josh Brolin. Yeah I'm surprised. I'm sure a lot of motion capture was used in his performance.

Or was he just completely CGI made with computers and the actors filmed with nobody on set.

They did credits Hinds as only doing the voice, and given how production went it wouldn't surprise me. Still didn't look good either way.

Looks pathetically poor as ever. I'm wearing thin to even muster up the strength to mock Marvel anymore, but picking on the idiots who somehow still drool embarrassingly over this cynical machine will forever be fun.

This trailer doesn't have me excited either but I haven't seen such an obnoxiously snobby post in forever

If Disney paid me every time I watch a film of theirs, or bought the merchandise, I'll be super rich. Unfortunately they don't, so...

How are superhero films contributing to the downfall of cinema? They are a byproduct of the current technical and cultural landscape, the same conditions that are behind why cinema is financially on the downturn. If cinema dies, it'll have more to do with the terrible deals between film distributors and theater chains that completely shortchange the chain and drive up concessional prices to the point of losing consumers or cinema losing its novelty because technology has gotten to the point where all of society is over-saturated with images.

If you think the overabundance was the problem I was implying with the comment regarding the deterioration of the artform, you would be mistaken.

Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant Man, GOTG, Loki, Thanos....
Hopefully I’ll like and enjoy this one a little more than Age of Ultron.

The first teaser was better, but this is still pretty effective. Thanos looks so much better in this trailer, and some of the shots are legit beautiful. Nice!
