That is, if she runs. Which I think is highly likely. I know it’s really early to do this, but fuck it. Of course, it depends on who else is running, but so far, it seems like she’s the best bet to dethrone Trump. Highly charismatic, a war veteran, a progressive voice that has a strong voting record to back it up, and quite pretty to top it all off. If Bernie doesn’t run in 2020, which I don’t think he will since he’ll be 3000 years old, she’d have my vote if I lived in America.

Potentially, but only if she wins the nomination.

Just another corporate democrat. I can see the other 3 winning though.

Well she's gorgeous so if I was American then I wouldn't mind seeing her everyday but she's a Democrat and I'll never support another Democrat again unless they change their positions.

There's been conflicting information on her so I wouldn't want to make a set choice, but I will say that I think she'd have a pretty good shot. To pose a legitimate threat, the Democratic Party will need to run someone with charisma that translates through television given that's been a pre-requisite for the presidency since Ronald Reagan (sans H.W. Bush who got his term off Reagan's coattails).

translates through television +social media Well, social media and the internet in general is in a lot of ways just a personalized form of television and most of the political shit spread on social media (besides memes) are TV clips anyway.

No. I think she's the only contender who would really be a non-starter for me if she got the nomination (which, given her position on everything from foreign military action to gay marriage to being cozy with crazy demogogic world leaders — she won't).

True, perhaps I should have specified that I wouldn't vote for them or anyone of their ilk, but I assumed that that was a given. Basically at this point I couldn't bring myself to vote for any kind of conservative. They've sunk so far into depravity that I can't in good conscience vote for anyone who sides with their ideology.

How about a libertarian? Sure, I could probably stomach that. At the end of the day it really comes down to whoever the candidate is. So long as it's not a pedo or a murderer or some fucked up Nazi or something like that, then I might be able to even vote for a Republican again. If McCain were younger I'd probably vote for him, so long as he didn't try to bring someone like Palin along the ride.

I love Al Franken, and I'd have never suspected he'd end up getting dragged into a scandal like he has, but here we are.
