John Lithgow wasn't a surprise at all. Part of me kinda hoped Ron Cephas Jones or Jonathan Banks might get it. But I won't lie, Lithgow killed it.

Yay Dern! but whats up with those cheesy paparazzi taking pics as the winner walks off the stage? Tacky.

Lithgow was expected, but fairly deserved, and he and Wright were the only ones nominated who were remotely worthy. Stoked for Glover. Dern's win is awesome, hopefully she gets another one of those next year.

Big little Lies is sweeping. Probably gonna win miniseries as well. As someone who was more into Fargo and The Night of, it's kinda disappointing, but it seems my opinion is a minority one anyways.

So happy Skarsgård won, my favorite BLL win so far and win so far in general. Kind of weird that Atlanta won best directing for its weakest episode (by far) but at least it was different I guess and I fully understand I might be the only one who feels that way.
It looks like my Kidman prediction is gonna come true. I mean to me it was a given the moment the show aired but so many pundits are still predicting Lange. I just don't see that happening, not then and definitely not now. Am prepared to eat my words though.

I guess they forgot that Ann Dowd and Margo Martindale aren't the same person.

I was super unsure predicting the best drama series winner but it certainly looks like it will be The Handmaid's Tale. Unless The Crown upsets, but am not feeling it. Stranger Things and especially Westworld don't stand a chance, they do they?

Thought Glover was gonna win again, but Master of None has also great writing.

Ugh this Handmaid's Tale sweep is so boring. First year without Game of Thrones and we still give all the Drama awards to one show. I know I still have to watch it, but I thought the book was kinda mediocre and really don't have much interest in the adaptation as a result.

The Handmaid's Tale is far better show IMO, but I was hoping for The Crown to win directing. The episode Stephen Daltry directed was surprisingly jaw-dropping.

I do think the best show out of all these nominees is actually Better Call Saul, but it ain't gonna win anything, unfortunately

That Brooker win was totally unexpected, but awesome.
