They could have done A LOT better with that poster. Hell, I only watched about 25 minutes of the reboot before I scoffed and turned it off... but at least those had some pretty cool posters if I remember correctly.

Looks about as good as I’m expecting this movie to be. Which isn’t much.

I’m not sure if I should take that as genuine positivity, or a case of “well, it could have been worse.” But this year in horror’s been great, so here’s hoping.

A jump noise when there is nothing startling going on. Michael just takes a few steps into the kitchen. SCARY!

My introduction to him was The Sitter, which nearly made me swear him off forever. I’ve seen a few of his movies since, and his more “genre” efforts are where I lose interest in him. Especially troubling when he’s matched to a franchise I generally don’t like (and I’m finding I don’t find *icon* slasher villains scary).

Jamie Lee Curtis as a badass grandmother with a Home Alone style booby-trapped, armored house is something I could be into.

David Gordon Green has been doing a lot of interviews, he always comes off as pretty cool and level, someone to get a beer with. Here's an interesting interview from today with a joke-mention of Manglehorn at the end (though maybe not-- he said a few years ago that he was "already writing the next one for Al" ) www.moviefone.com/2018/10/16/halloween-director-david-gordon-green-interview/

Halloween Kills - 10/16/2020 Halloween Ends - 10/15/2021 giddyup bitches Awesome, but there goes my sequel idea! DGG intentionally or not likes to work in threes... his stoner comedies Pineapple Express/Your Highness/The Sitter, followed by his Texas trilogy on, his words, "the strange conflicts of masculinity" - Prince Avalanche/Joe/Manglehorn. He was, before Halloween, supposed to do that Newsflash movie which would've been his third true-story in a row, and now these horrors. Still waiting on that next one for Pacino he mentioned...

But is it really the end though???? I'd say it'll definitely be the end of Jamie Lee Curtis' (and DGG's) involvement in the series. Probably another reboot or something within 10 years of the third one though, lol.

"Halloween Ends"
You mean "November 1st"?

Glad to hear there'll be more, as I love this franchise. I'm not crazy on the title "Halloween Kills", but a title is hardly a big deal in the end.
