There's a certain amount of episodes that needed to be aired to make it eligible for this year. Only a few out of 18 Twin Peaks episodes were released before the cutoff deeming it only eligible for next year.

Wouldnt twin peaks be in limited series. I was back and forth on it considering it could be a one and done Season, but it also could continue, and it's technically a third season of a show that originally competed in Drama Series. I think it probably will compete Limited the more I think about it, but that drastically changes my Wins.

out of curiosity, what is the calender for Emmy eligibility? Are they the same as the GLobes? I've never been close enough to TV to notice. I'm used to the Oscar calender where everything released in a year is eligible in that same year (with some exceptions). TV is so much more confusing.
