Fine? Deadline says it's on pace for 20 million with a 29 million dollar budget. I said it was fine at the time, because that's just how I described the number. The 20 million number didn't come into play till later.

Good for Ryan Reynolds that the first star vehicle he's headlined since Deadpool is a successful one. With nothing of note coming out next week and no new releases at all the last week of August, it should stay at #1 for another two weeks.
And Wind River is still slaying. I wasn't sure how much life this would have beyond the arthouse crowd, and there was always the possibility that Harvey would dump it, but things are looking pretty good for a 20 million + finish. I'm happy for Renner's sake that it didn't fly under the radar and I hope it serves as a reminder that he's a really talented actor.

The Wind River theater I went to was fairly crowded.
Granted, the median age was well over 65... so the discount may be in play.

Why doesn't Wind River have a cinemascore? Is it because it's an independent film?

Why doesn't Wind River have a cinemascore? Is it because it's an independent film? Lack of interest perhaps, due to the limited release or something. I dunna.

WW is now the highest grossing superhero ever made. I assume you're talking about in America because The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Civil War, Iron Man 3 and Avengers 1 and 2 all made over a billon. Or did you mean highest grossing origin story.
