Winslet by a mile. Weisz is good, but wipes Winslet's ass.

Weisz is underrated as hell, but Winslet easily.

HATE Weisz as an actress. It's funny that one of the few times I have really loved her is when she was giving off major Winslet vibes in The Constant Gardener.

Winslet
Usually, but not always, I find Weisz a somewhat annoying screen presence. She's one of those actors who I know is talented, but I just don't tend to want to watch.

Rachel is considerably more appealing as a personality, but a lot of her film work is really run-of-the-mill. There is something clinical about most of her performances, and in that regard, Winslet in peak form more or less leaves her in the shade. Too bad the latter has just steadily gone downhill in the last decade and has hit nadirs that Weisz could only "dream" about.

Generally speaking, I think that Thompson is one of the greatest actors of the last half century. Bonham Carter is absolutely spell-binding when she's 'on' ('Howards End,' 'The Wings of the Dove,' 'Fight Club,' etc.), but I have to say that the 'kooky' party trick is well beyond tired.

I do like Rachel Weisz and I want to see My Cousin Rachel because of her. I think she will be fantastic in that role she's playing, but I am forever loyal to the acting goddess that is Kate Winslet. I want to see them working together on some Single White Female shit.

Weisz at her peak may be just as good/better, but Winslet has just had such a great career with so many more great parts and quality performances. She has her on longevity/depth.
