What games are we looking forward to? Perhaps other than Red Dead Redemption 2?

I thought it didn't begin until June 13th Hoping for Bathesda to make an appearance and possibly divulge a little bit more about their mysterious open-world projects supposedly in development. It'd also be great if CD Projekt Red says more about Cyberpunk 2077 but I'm not expecting that to happen. Also looking forward to more information about Far Cry 5

My highlights so far:
Battlefront 2 looks awesome. Already seems like an improvement over the first. PS. Get Janina Gavankar to host everything.
Xbox original backwards compatibility is amazing. Can't wait.
Sea of Thieves is going to be my most anticipated anything (except The Last of Us Part II) until it comes out. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see Rare back to form.
Anthem looks sweet!
Intrigued by The Darwin Project.
Annapurna has an interactive branch and two upcoming games. Megan Ellison is my lord and savior, so I'm game.
Whatever that Super Lucky's Tale is, it had me fooled that it was a Conker game. Still looks like a ton of fun.
I really got to finish Ori and the Blind Forest. Will of the Wisps looked so breathtaking.
Um... Bethesda happened, I guess. Nothing spectacular there.
Skull and Bones looks cool. Sea of Thieves still looks better.

Sony conference starts in five minutes. They've been the highlight of E3 the last few years, so I'm super stoked to see what they give us. Last of Us Part II, please? Will update as new stuff gets announced.
Recreating the vibes of last year's live performance, with an Indian flavor. Guessing it's Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
yep. Audio starting out is really poor, though. Hope that's fixed.
Horizon DLC coming soon.
Days Gone lookin' real intense.
New Monster Hunter. And you fight fucking T-Rex mutants!
Shadow of the Collosus PS4 port.
New Marvel vs. Capcom. Eh.
New stuff from Call of Duty: WWII. Another eh, but the rhythm's been great so far.
You can play Skyrim in VR now.
New Pacific Rim looking game Star Child. Looks neat.
The Inpatient. Creepy looking. Then Team Bravo. And Another pleasant surprise, a fantasy game called Moss.
New God of War comes out Early 2018. Have to finish original trilogy by then.
Detroit: Become Human looks so fantastic.
Destiny 2. Okay, I guess? Really happy with how this turned out. It's games, games, games, and I love it. Looks to end big.
Ends with a freakin' awesome Spider-Man demo. Forget Homecoming, *THIS* is the Spidey I need in my life right now. Excellent conference.

Battlefront looks flip flapping amazing.
Sadly, my PC probably won't be able to handle it even on the lowest of low settings (curse you console players!).

I'm pretty much only interested in open world/exploration games at this point, so none of the shooters appeal to me, or the survival horror games, or the platformers (although the Ori games do look fucking beautiful), racing games, action rpgs, or that goddamn VR bullshit. I can see why people are stoked for Battlefront II, but it doesn't look interesting to me at all.
It looks like Sony definitely had the better event, but I don't use PlayStation so...
Only games at E3 that pique my interest: Assassins Creed: Origins (haven't played a single AC game yet but this one looks like a fun place to start? hopefully?) Far Cry 5 Middle-earth: Shadow of War Anthem (maaaaaybe)
Anthem is the only game that I didn't know about pre-E3, and I was already sold on Shadow of War before I saw the E3 footage. AC: Origins and Far Cry 5 look about as expected.
Days Gone would look really good if I had a PS4.

Nintendo's entire press release consisted of "Hey, guys! Here's an exciting look at a bunch of titles and DLC that you already knew was coming, as well as updates for years-old games! Also, we have some other exciting titles coming up, but we don't have anything to say about them. Anyway, let's get back to the old stuff! Whoa!"
It really is hard to be excited for Nintendo when the things they put together are so underwhelming to watch.

I'm pretty much only interested in open world/exploration games at this point. I'm very much half-and-half on open world. If it's a case like Horizon: Zero Dawn where the entire map is populated by loads of actual man-made stuff and side quests to do, I'm all for it. If it's a case like No Man's Sky or Assassin's Creed where the maps are huge, but the actual content is spread so few and far between every corner of the map, or has to rely on procedurally randomized content to pad the running time, it gets me real bored real fast. I'm typically of the mind "Don't tell me how big your map is, tell me what I can do in it."

When I talk about open world games, I'm mostly thinking of The Witcher 3 and Skyrim.
