Anyone else watch this yet? Just finished it and I'd definitely recommend it. Ribisi and Martindale are fantastic, and it's a fun role to watch Cranston (who co-created the show) play. Lots of great con artist stuff, put me in the mood to watch a Mamet movie. Also filled the "main character pretending to be someone he's not" void left by Banshee.

I need a new show to watch... especially since the only show not in hiatus that I follow is New Girl, which has dropped the ball hard this season.

So far season 2 is entertaining (up to ep. 7)... but this is way too many twists. It's a hat on a hat on top of another hat at this point.

Finally got around to season 2, and I agree, I liked it overall... but there were so many damn twists, and they didn't even lead to a satisfying conclusion that would have made everything worth it.
And it also relied waaaay too much on conveniences. The biggest being Pete and Maggie deciding "eh, let's let Marius keep pretending to be Pete just because he's lonely." lol... Also thought the season spent way too much time on the money laundering, hitman's son, Taylor's affair.... but outside of all the complaints, it's still a lot of fun. Definitely not on the level of season 1, but Ribisi is still excellent... Martindale is still great (though didn't really have much to do at times), and most of the con stuff works. Wondering where it will go in season 3... hope they don't cop out that final bench moment of s2.

Have you checked out Barry yet? I think you'd dig it. Still need to see the last two episodes, but was kind of mixed on the first 4. Really liked the first 2, 3&4 I was kind of iffy on. I feel like the hitman/Chechen stuff is kind of weak and the show would work better if Barry was just a former hitman trying to be an actor. I'll probably catch up on the last two within the next day or so, which will hopefully make me more of a fan.

Holy shit... can't believe I didn't know Ricky Jay was in season 3! Apparently he passed before filming completed and they had to re-work his character, but it'll still be great to see him one last time. Hopefully his death didn’t affect the season too much but I’m super excited to see what he brings to the show.

Hopefully his death didn’t affect the season too much but I’m super excited to see what he brings to the show. Just finished season 3... and unfortunately his death definitely had a big impact on the plot. The final 2 episodes were clearly re-shaped and a bit all over the place... But the season overall was a bit too reliant on conveniences and all over the place itself... but I still liked it a lot. Pretty batshit and entertaining... and Ribisi and Martindale are excellent. Hope it gets one more season.
