using kendricks idol ðŸ˜
probably one of the most creative ways of using AI in a song tbh. i think he makes shitty music for the most part, but drake has shown to be v calculated and devious when it comes to beefs (although he got dragged by pusha t).
i’m interested to see what kendricks response will be. he’s a much better lyricist than drake, but drake is smart and not trying to make it a lyric vs lyric battle. while saying that, this song may have shown that drake is insecure about the underage women accusations that may come his way.

There is no Art in Drake's daft non-lyricism trolling.......he is a lesser troll than Elon Musk tbh - he is certainly literally a sub-pacinoyes in a message board war where I slap people around ..........as George Clinton once said about Earth, Wind and Fire - predicting beef 50 years in advance btw........ Mud, hot air and no fire......... ........... that's still Kendrick 1, nobody else anything - at all....and that's still off of 1 guest verseGTFO

"It's just big me" is mickey mouse lyricism. Not really, I thought it was funny and it's driven Drake kinda loopy tbh - Kendrick at least is in his head, rent free ........and like I said he should wait 6 years and drop another guest verse and disappear again..........I don't get how Drake using AI is a cooler troll than Rick Ross drooping Drake's actual voice on a diss ............and the Rick Ross diss was lukewarm too.........it's going to take Kendrick to either end it.........or more likely ignore it........or at least raise the fucking temperature......... I dunno, what's Joe Budden saying?

Who does a diss track where he croons and shit .......nothing in those verses sounds mean, sociopathic, angry, urgent - this iisn't beef ....it's spam.......he lifts Jay's Takeover (I can divide) GTFO.........when you're dropping the name of Stone Temple Pilots you are a dumb-ass...........Kendrick Lamar is just gonna blow this off, right? No wonder I don't listen to rap since the early 2000s........ This is going to show up on a pacinoyes list and in a bad way .......I can defend the cover version of Jolene more than this original tbh I abandoned it at that time too. And Gen Z'ers cluelessly call me a "boomer" because of that. But I am kind of halfway paying attention to this all out war because things have been so boring for the longest, so it's a little amusing. Oh Lord, here comes Kanye. And J. Cole should have just kept quiet to begin with. Don't get me wrong. I have more respect for him than most of these fools today because he's a fine lyricist. But by doing this, which is not the kind of thing his heart would be into, and then apologizing, looks baaad. (He was right about Kendrick's last album though. ) Anyway, get that BBL and possibly nose job-having, Degrassi-starring, Stranger Things girl dm'ing, Tory Lanez apologist, Canadian troll, Kendrick. You got this.

Even his speaking voice is a put on fake to sound tough.

Wow Taylor really is queen. Her name is in the middle of a rap beef, and they're afraid to release music on the same day as her because she is THAT powerful To quote Saweetie, "I know that's right!"

That was just a banger for one of those dance films. Even he makes fun of it. He can rap (check out the Eminem/Slaughterhouse cypher). He's respected more for his confessional, introspective Mood Music series, which has one of the many styles that hack Drake has taken from. But as a personality, he is all over the place. Sometimes his takes are spot on. Other times, he's full of it with double standards, and I preferred it when he wasn't compromised by Diddy and Jay Z.

i take back my earlier comment I don't blame them. And I'm glad you retract. I thought it was foul gimmick to pull. But people are easily impressed today. Anyway, it was fun for about a week, but now I'm bored. Kendrick is not responding. And they do have to wait until after Taylor drops. Drake had a point there. 😂

He's just bad at making songs, which is why he never blew up.

People really got to come to grips with how Late Night With The Devil "lightly" using AI was lame or whatever and Drake - who let's face it ain't exactly Nas at the beef shit - using it in a song was "good" or "cool" or a good diss UNTIL Tupac's estate sued him..... It was always lame ........so is this feud.......

Drake is pretty good at beefs. Only Pusha T got over on him, and he basically dishonorably used info Kanye told him (from Drake, who now knows Kanye is a snake to be put down and not trusted). He's never been clowned like Jay-Z was by Nas. I actually like Jay-Z's Takeover, though. Nas won, but it was messy. Jay really lost from engaging with a dude who'd faded so much. Nas had a brief resurgence with One Mic after all this, but he was a legacy artist at that point. Ooochie Wally Nas?

Ooochie Wally Nas? * To me The Takeover & Ether are masterpieces........by the way, it's good in some ways that we are even talking rap.........the music board tends to cover the same ground and nobody really talks rap......not much anyway........and when we do.........it's pretty simplistic * The Takeover is like Kendrick because again it was comparatively minor - Kendrick drops a guest verse only afaik, Jay dropped a verse only in The Takeover - and Drake is trying to hit a moving target to guest verses that dance around him imo........Drake is trying to be on top of it like Nas ..............but Kendrick I think is clowning him by not responding...........atm anyway * The Takeover was great because what Jay says was all true - it was devastatng facts (like Pusha did to Drake) - what was great about Ether is it took a long time to come out .............like a REAL long time............and it subverted everything about Jay and Rap emotionally - Nas essentially used what Punk Rock does...........It questioned Jay's commercial success, his women, his cash - and used it against him........ * Ether responded to a slap by pulling a knife like an overreacting lunatic basically but it was so much later it seemed like a knockout and it sprayed A LOT of shots..........I love both of the songs very, very much...........and to me Nas - who I consider GOAT-level and THE best lyricist to ever come from Rap..........with Illmatic the PEAK of the genre .........but when Jay says I took your voice you were using it wrong, took a hot line and made it a hot song .........that's Chef's Kiss level shit As a petty message board dick myself.......The Takeover is bascally how I live my life ffs ......the Mobb Deep diss was even better and the production - Kanye - is masterful shit - 5 to 1 and and Bowie's Fame....... whew......

I know I'll get murdered on here for saying that, but ugh.... their stuff is so corny. It's 2024. Seriously.

Talking Book is a greatish record.... I Never Loved a Man..... is a greatish record.........but I would put Are You Experienced, Sign o' The Times, Kind of Blue, Hoodoo Man Blues, Muddy Water's Hard Again and others - as personal favorite full albums by black artists ........ off the top of my head.......... Aretha is a song artist to me - a compilation would be perfectly fine for her.......

Well what's the best white guy album of all time? j/k (but in actuality for me, David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, but hey, I listen to it every single day, so my beloved Blonde on Blonde takes a backseat. )There's nothing wrong with liking a rapper's album and not liking Stevie Wonder (who is arguably one of the top 3 most talented musicians/songwriters living, but music IS subjective ). Blueprint is fantastic ( Song Cry ), although I wouldn't even rank it as the best Jay-Z album, let alone rap album. Etta James' At Last > Aretha, but music journalists are lazy. I'm not being confrontational here, but what does "It's 2024. Seriously." mean? Okay, I'm working on being easier on people making statements like that. I can't expect people today to know and love Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis, Curtis Mayfield, Hendrix, or Otis Redding just because I listen to them. I've already caught grief for The Velvet Underground and Neil Young . To them I say: I am not a boomer. I am a millenial. Stop making fun of me because my tastes run beyond 10 years ago. They give me flashbacks to high school when I got made fun of as weird for listening to PJ Harvey.

But when i was growing up (late 90s)..... the mold of Stevie/Aretha when a man loves a woman kinda stuff had kinda grown out of style to us 90s boys, and were starting to feel a bit corny. But I never liked music like that.... well except Lionel Ritchie - Easy, All Night Long, Endless Love (maybe slightly corny?.... but Diana Ross looked damn pretty) And I correct myself. The best "black guy" album is probably Purple Rain. And I never pat myself on the back for being oh so cool or something against the conventions of my environment. I do argue genuine bad takes, tho - there are lots.
