Winners-wise this might've been the best Oscars I've watched. Correcting the awfulness of last year in real time!

Good show. No major shocks or surprises for me ( Best Actress was the only acting category with any suspense attached, and the underdog won, which wasn't a total shock either). Happy with most of the winners. Oppenheimer deserved to clean up.
Best part of the show....Ryan Gosling's performance of I'm Just Ken.
Shameik Moore needs to take a vacation from social media, because this sore loser shit just makes the entire Spider-Verse team look bad. They've already won for the first film and have another shot to win for the third, which he may be damaging with his ill-judged reaction to his film losing.

So wait, a whole-ass ceremony where Jimmy Kimmel didn't make a Matt Damon joke once, in a year where he was in the Best Picture winner?

As funny as it was, I feel like Barbenheimer was a HUGE boon to both movies. We will never see lightning in a bottle like this again.

Aw man, I had to get home from the theater where I was watching it to beat the traffic. Glad that the gag is still alive today.

Tip to Martin Scorsese: never have your movie nominated for 10 Oscars. The curse is real.

Solid show. Having it an hour early was a great move. Kimmel's monologue was bland but whatever. Show went by quickly without a hitch or any needlessly prolonged bits - think the longest one was naked John Cena and that was still fairly brief and worked alright. "I'm Just Ken" was the obvious highlight as everyone expected. Messi and Spielberg had great audience moments. Good set of winners.

No, but really, I don't remember the last time I was going "Fuck yeah" throughout the whole ceremony. Miyazaki getting his second Oscar (OMG), Poor Things beating pink paint and taking PD+CD, all of Oppy's wins (especially the sight of Spielberg presenting Nolan with BD), Godzilla Minus One winning VFX, EMMA STONE. What a bunch. Can't wait to see how the Academy fucks it all up next year

Guy was recording his reactions and cheering Nolan on like he was at his favourite football star.
