One serious question: I can't get copy+paste to work in game, so I can't show anyone my will when they ask for it. Is there another method I don't know about? I'm using right click to copy+paste, but it doesn't work in the town. Using cntl+c then cntl+v works for me (on PC).

I just played a truly amazing game as jester. I lost but I don't care because I basically managed to run the game.
I was encouraging random lynching by using a random number generator and some people went along with it. This caused vote splitting during the first several days and it bought the maf and SK more time to kill townies. Maf was about to win it but then they killed me on the last night and handed the win to the SK.
I got jailed on N2 and convinced the jailor to keep my alive too so I could have some fun and he spared me.

I seriously just pulled off the probably the most improbably win as GF. My Mafioso left the game on N1 leaving me with just the framer. We got the SK on day 2 and then my framer left another night later. The retributionist brought back the lookout I killed on N1 too.
When my Mafioso died I just started playing like an exe and told town to lynch my target and I'd help them win but I had to fight off the other exe too. When I hit the exe I instantly said I was attacked the next day, then a few nights later while I was in jail I said I was attacked while in jail.
The other townies were coming close to lynching the exe's target but my 1 vote on mine would always keep it from going to trial but eventually my target got lynched and I focused on killing the exe's target to turn him into a jester. Luckily the vig shot the exe and 1 day later when the exe tried to out me as GF I reminded the town that vig shot him and was immune (this was the day following the night I killed his target) so they put him up on trial and lynched him. 2 people voted guilty, 1 was the vig who shot the sheriff the night before the other a random townie so I had 2 options to open the next day in a 1v1 but the jester killed the vig who was gonna kill himself anyway so I thought I was screwed.
Next day when it's 3 people left I instantly asked someone to claim jailor, the person claimed and I told him to lynch the other guy who was a doctor and then when that guy died the jailor wasn't able to hit the button to jail me in time and I won the game.
This was seriously a game that I had no business winning considering the circumstances and I managed to play that town like a fiddle and get the win.

Whereas I had burned two jester scrolls last night to literally die n1. lol. It sucks dying without even having the slightest chance of getting yourself hanged.

I need to start playing classic less.
Seriously, if I had a dollar for every time someone asked if someone roleblocked the sk after there was no sk kill I'd be rich.

Getting shot by a vig when playing as jester is absolutely cancerous. Almost as bad as dying N1.

Getting shot by a vig when playing as jester is absolutely cancerous. Almost as bad as dying N1. Been there one too many times. As I've said before, vigs are the fucking scourge of the Earth in Salem (in Chaos there are far too many YOLO vigs who decide to just shoot with no rhyme or reason and leave the game if they don't get the desired result... and those are the same ones who say "get rekt!" when they manage to guess correctly). I hate those people.

lol I just won as SK by not killing anyone and acting sort of like a jester in group chat. In the end I did kill 3 people though. 2 mafs and the jailor I recently came up with the plan that if I get jailed as an SK to keep them typing in the chat as much as I can so they don't put down who they jailed that night. For instance, I got jailed n1 (which is an instakill for jailor and everyone will know it was you who did it) so I was asking stupid questions like "so I'm a transporter, do I click the two in the same column or what?" and they were nice enough to explain to me what to do... lol But OF FUCKING COURSE there was a medium who he ratted me out to... And a ret resurrected him... lol. That's my luck in this game. BUT, the plan worked... sorta.

I screwed up by saying that I visited someone on night 2 to deflect attention from myself... someone that had been hit by a werewolf. At which point I went 110% incompetent jester. Somehow, it worked and no townies tried to lynch me. Even after the mafia figured out I was arso, they didn't have the numbers to lynch me and the townies wouldn't agree to it since I hadn't killed yet. I took out all three players, leaving a spy in the final 2 with me. I tried doing that as a maf earlier today when all of my allies got killed (there was an escort who was naming his role blocks), and it was working until I lynched a jester. I don't think I'd have won anyway, I had to kill off four more people to win the game. Sitting on my hands seemed to be working, though.

I actually got it to work.

I actually got it to work. I can't even work out an exe route. I won once by going full townie, because my target was too obviously townie and helpful. I allied with the last maf at final 4 to leave my target alone so we could lynch her the next day. But that isn't the normal way of winning, and relies on the hope that mafs won't kill my target all game long.

What I like to do is open day 2 by saying "I have useful info but don't want to give away my role yet. Is there someone I can whisper to?" Done this twice, first time the jailor whispered me saying he's jailor and that I can give him the info. 1 day later my target was lynched. 2nd time my target died N2 and one of the people I whispered to instantly called me out as a maf and I got lynched the next day. I'm just gonna assume he was helping me get the jester win.

Turns out claiming SK is a surprisingly good SK strategy. Haven't tried this outside of classic though.

And now I actually just won a game by using this strategy.
I frame someone in my death note as SK then when the day starts I seriously just say "I'M SK LYNCH ME. IT WASN'T [the guy in the will] IT WAS ME. I MUST PAY FOR MY CRIMES AGAINST THIS TOWN".

That sounds ingenious and I must try it. I actually won a game as arso without lighting a single match earlier. I don't know precisely how it happened, except that there was another arso, a werewolf, a maf and some vampires who all went on a killing frenzy one night which left just me and a single vampire left alive. One more turn and I would have lit up pretty much everyone anyway, but it was pretty funny to win in a solo killing role without killing.

Also, when using that SK strategy you have to be persistent about it. Keep claiming it every single day and multiple times a day to the point of annoying the hell out of everyone and be sure to use all caps too. That's the cherry on top. When put up on stand say "ok, I admit it, I'm jester". Then post again saying "JK I REALLY AM SK LYNCH ME!" What's your id on town of Salem btw? I'll add you later
