Absolutely horrible. We [the UK] have been so active in intervening terror cells with raids the last few months and for the most part been successful, but you can't get them all and it only takes one to fly under the radar.
RIP to all that lost their lives and thoughts are with everyone affected by this disgraceful, senseless act.

WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE ATTACKER The suicide bomber who killed 22 people - including children - and injured around 120 at the Manchester Arena has been named as 22-year-old Salman Abedi. He is believed to have been born in Manchester on New Year's Eve 1994. Abedi's parents were Libyan refugees who came to Britain to escape the reign of Colonel Gaddafi. They have four children - of which Abedi is the second youngest - including three sons and a daughter who is now 18. Both of his parents were born in Libya but are thought to have first emigrated to London before moving to Manchester, according to the Daily Telegraph. They are understood to have lived in the Fallowfield area of the city for at least 10 years. Unconfirmed reporters suggest the whole family apart from the two elder sons recently returned to Libya. Abedi grew up just yards from Whalley Range High School, which hit the headlines in 2015 when twins Zahra and Salma Halane - who were both grade A pupils and aspiring medical students - left their homes and fled Britain to join ISIS in Syria. Yeah, what a shame... Edit: It's like no one can't really be safe in any kind of social or public gatherings anymore. Theatres, schools, malls, night clubs, subways, venues, concerts...
