My Dell laptop is in need of an upgrade, as it is constantly f_cking up.
If I got a PC, I would stick with Dell as they've been good to me and generally have lasted awhile...but I am very much considering purchasing a Mac instead.
Your thoughts? What have you got?

Funnily enough I just got a new computer a few days ago. Had both a Mac and PC but both died out. Macs are fantastic, especially if you get one of the newer models. But I decided to get a PC because I feel more comfortable using Windows. Plus they're much easier to upgrade stuff like RAM, Graphics Card etc. You can't go wrong with anyone tbh, but if you've had no trouble with Dell then you might as well stick with them.

PC. I still have a Dell from 2010 that works well (granted, I'm also pretty good at protecting/maintaining computers) but I recently got an Acer and I'm loving the shit out of it.
I absolutely fucking despise Windows 10, though. The hardware is great (especially for the price), but holy hell 10 is just a nightmare-- my biggest issue is that every update, they seem the undo all my preferences and re-install all the shit I deleted when I got the damn thing... so I have to go through and undo all that crap every time it updates.

I've pretty much always been a PC user. I've a laptop at home, which I've probably had for 4/5 years now and it's still in good working order.
Speaking of Dell laptops, the worst laptop I ever had was a Dell one.

thats like saying do you want your texts to be blue or green?
the answer is obvi blue because only poor people have green.
im assuming youre not using your laptop for anything other than a normal 30 year old would be using it for. which in that case, mac. always mac.

Depending on what you do with a laptop the answer could be, just take a cheap option, anything is perfectly capable of doing Internet/Netflix stuff and it is almost irrelevant what the OS is.
So it depend of what you need to do with it.
