Elle Fanning plays a trans man. Looks tonally similar to The Kids Are All Right. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this one.
for the record, if you haven't seen Celine Sciamma's Tomboy, definitely check it out. That's another movie about a biological female experimenting with her gender and identity. Very moving stuff.
