Leave it to the board's own Piers Morgans to continue victimblaming Markle and discrediting her accounts. Disgusting. His hatred for Meghan is off the charts.

Prince Harry confirmed that the skin color remark was in fact discussed so I'm not understanding why anyone would think Meghan was lying about that.

IF it happened sure....... IF it was a close member of the upper royal family sure....... BUT if it was a weird cousin twice removed ..........maybe not so much that it should be held against the monarchy ...............who knows - since she de facto indicted the Queen (until Oprah spoke to that this AM) or William or Kate or whomever with her words in front of 17 million people with what she left out....... The point is she went on TV dropped that bombshell, didn't back it up, never intended to back it up, but always intended to say it. I find her quite sketchy, and before that interview I merely found her quite dull..........ymmv Would be kind of an odd decision to drop that bombshell if it was indeed "just" a weird cousin twice removed, don't you think? I think the fact that she doesn't say who is precisely the reason why it's very likely that it's a close member of the upper royal family, because it would be too damaging (her words in the interview iirc). I agree. Had it in fact been some distant cousin they would have never said anything because we don't know that person. That is why it is someone huge like William the future King.

The trouble now is that everybody is speculating about who said it.Innocent people are being accused of being racist. If you're going to talk about that stuff, you have to name the person involved.

I like the wacky theory that Harry has a weird mommy issues kink and that’s why you see the pics of Meghan basically cosplaying as Diana. She’s got him by the balls I don't know how much they've spent on therapy but I'm guessing it ain't done “Her politics are very left wing. She is always on about this cause or the other.”“Every time Harry is with her, he always just looks very glum and miserable,” he said.
“However, every time you see a picture of him with the lads and doing something else, it is all smiles and laughter.” au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/prince-harry-glum-miserable-hes-around-meghan-says-royal-expert-235152939.html

Monarchism is an inherently evil system and the Royal Family are a blight on civilisation, so, if one were to side with either in this dispute, of course it's Meghan and Harry because they're exposing the bigoted cruelty of these parasites but at the same time I don't feel sorry for rich people. The unabashedly racist abuse the tabloids gave Meghan, especially in contrast to their treatment of Kate, was pathetic but she's still a class traitor for marrying into the Royal Family so the girl-bossifying of her is also a problem. Instead of some he-said-she-said TMZ drama, this should be a serious discussion over abolishing this pitifully outdated tradition.

I've made fun of Meghan before but these new reports are not good. I think we can all guess who it is who inquired about their baby's skin tone and would be "damaged" by their (her) name being made public. my money is on William. Was definitely Charles imo

His hatred for Meghan is off the charts. It’s frightening, really. My question is did he really think she wanted to date him?

For people bothered by her indicting the whole family by not naming anyone, she makes it clear in the interview that it would be very damaging to the person, so she clearly doesn't want to ostracize and shame that specific member of the family permanently. Would you rather she hadn't said anything at all? You might argue that it would have been better to resolve the issue privately within the family... but that involves no real accountability if you want change to happen.

I wonder if she gave a single shit at how "damaging" she was being towards the whole family by just appearing period - or her husbands 100 year old war hero grandfather on his near deathbed while she bent over backwards to spare the identity of the "racist" - how noble that is - makes perfect sense! No one wants "change to happen" anyway - they want their history and tradition and spectacle and pomp and circumstance - and family stuff kept within the family. No reasonable person imo wants the guy who is (sorry, was) 6th from the throne - - and his wife of just a couple years - the Z-level actress of Skins - solving "the race problem" .....Who said the burden of racism is her burden to solve anyway ......who says it's the guy who was 6th from the throne?

Yes, not exactly sure who's stanning a man who PUBLICLY said all of the following: “British women can’t cook”“Everybody was saying we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are unemployed” (during the 1981 recession).“You are a woman, aren’t you?” (in Kenya after accepting a small gift from a local woman).“If you stay here much longer you’ll all be slitty-eyed” (to a group of British students during a royal visit to China).“You can’t have been here that long, you haven’t got pot belly” (to a Briton he met in Hungary).“Aren’t most of you descended from pirates?” (to a wealthy islander in the Cayman Islands).“How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test” (to a Scottish driving instructor).“It looks as if it was put in by an Indian” (referring to an old-fashioned fuse box in a factory near Edinburgh).“Still throwing spears?” (question put to an Aboriginal Australian during a visit).“There’s a lot of your family in tonight” (after looking at the name badge of businessman Atul Patel at a Palace reception for British Indians).“The Philippines must be half-empty as you’re all here running the NHS” (on meeting a Filipino nurse at Luton and Dunstable Hospital).Imagine the stuff that came out of his mouth when no one was around.

I dunno, I kind of see it like choosing to give all the family members a black eye instead of chopping off the limbs of one particular family member and leaving them paralyzed for the sake of accountability. Still gives everyone plausible deniability while maybe also condemning anyone who was silent or not showing support on the issue. Makes sense to me. *shrugs* Kind of strange to put the word racist in quotation marks when it’s already been established that expressing concern over a child’s skin color pretty clearly qualifies as racism. Bros before hos? Seriously? Where I’m from, when you’re married to your spouse, your allegiance is to them instead of the family you came from, period.

Well I'd say your allegiance to your spouse rather than their family only applies if you're you know not marrying into royalty - which is you know bigger than yourself and your spouse. Oh, if only she had known what she was getting into! Poor naive fawn! Sarcasm. But hey I agree - the reason she (they) went on TV was to give the family a black eye not anything more noble or socially conscious than that. Mission accomplished, black eye delivered ........and now what? Ah yes, nothing at all .........jolly good.

Lol everyone whose outside of the royal bloodline and marries into it are absolutely gorgeous. (Diana, Kate and Meghan) Everybody in it ends up looking butt. Must not be all that royal if it produces someone as Neanderthal looking as Charles.
